A Brief Spontaneous "Piggly Wiggly" Surprise...

It's been a great while since I've had good opportunity to be able to give someone one of my handwritten "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tracts.

This Monday, March 11, 2019 just around 10:15a.m. the Lord gave me opportunity to witness His Gospel to two older women: one black, one white standing outside the local Piggly Wiggly store here in Hammond, Louisiana.

I was just taking my little "excursion" in town for a bit to relax and get ready for class at 12:30p.m.

It's a good thing Piggly Wiggly is right across from Northshore Technical Community College across the highway.

Well, I was just passing by the women and didn't have to say much but "Hello, I think this would be good for you (both) to have..." and I gave both women individually their own gospel tract.

Didn't have to "engage in conversation" or nothing just a "smooth exchange". I like that when that happens lol 'cause I don't always want to "talk to people" at certain times. I'd just rather figure things out for themselves sometimes; but that wasn't this case: I just "passed on along" after meeting these women.

The older black lady was sitting on the wooden bench and the other white lady was just coming out of the store with her shopping cart jam-packed with groceries; she was smoking her cigarette.

Both woman looked "tired 'n sad" if I just went by the "outward appearance". Must've wanted some "personal time alone" to debrief and relax so they didn't really "follow-up" with asking me why I gave them gospel tracts. I just did and I thank God they accepted it before I walked away.

Anyways, I prayed as I walked away that God would save both women if they are unsaved and that God will bless and keep them safe in life in that brief encounter I met them.

May God Almighty, Lord Jesus Christ continue to work in the spirits of His saints in these Last Days as we "work the spiritual harvest fields" of unsaved human souls in this world before the coming Rapture ahead... Amen.

A WEAK Wretched Worm As I...

Today I was kinda feeling pretty crappy today actually...

Lol just came out of a fast a while ago and just as quickly went into a little "backsliding" in emotional "temper tantrums" of my personal life situation.

Anyways it's just MY FAULT in the end and no "blame game" to play.

I basically just stayed up too late at night into the early morning and set my alarm clock to wake me up by six in the morning to get ready for church today.

BY GOD'S GOOD GRACE actually made it to church today but it was a "battle" of a sluggish, grumpy person fighting against his flesh...

Flash-forward on the way to church with my family we stopped at the local Quick Way gas station and I saw a man sitting at a corner with his stuff; he looked homeless or some guy "going through some stuff"; perhaps on drugs and/or related issues.

I could relate to the man.

So I stepped out the car and gave the man a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ (KJV 1 Corinthians 15:1-4) gospel tract as he sat on the ground and people passed by it seemed without even at least "acknowledging" the man as a human-being regardless if they "looked down" on him as a "hobo" in their minds...

Even if I don't help homeless people on the spot because I can't or it's not the "right moment or situation" I at least do my best to ACKNOWLEGE their existence as human-beings with basic human dignity and respect and not to "look down" on them because they're homeless. Like trash not even human... It's wrong for people to just turn a "blind eye" to people on the streets whether they're like that on purpose or not: just ACKNOWLEDGE and treat people with simple dignity and respect because it's the right thing to do and it makes your life easier and more meaningful in the end.

I just came up and said it: "Even though I don't look like it (I'm all "dressed up" for church) I'm a MESS too man..." is all I had to say with him and we "understood" each other and he intently took the gospel tract I handed him with EARNEST interest. He saw I acknowledged and respected him by saying "I'm no better than him" as I am a "mess" myself with many problems and issues God is dealing with me on working on. A work in progress I am.

Anyways after that little encounter I just got back in the car and whole family and I went off to Greenfield Missionary Baptist Church for service. Amen.

Brief Spontaneous Witness At Walmart

On Monday, November 5, 2018 I gave a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ (KJV 1 Corinthians 15:1-4) gospel tract to an elder white man at the local Walmart bus stop area just before 1:55p.m. going into Walmart for groceries...

Quite quick and unexpected at first but Spirit-led.

I said, "I feel led to give you this..." as I approached the man sitting down and in response he said "Okay... Thanks...".

One Among Many

2018 and the Lord mustered the spirit in me to witness to two young women I "felt" in my spirit to share the "Good News" of Jesus with.

First one was a young black woman 'round my age or younger (probably teens, late teens, etc. doubt she older than me if anything).

I'm 23 years-old as of yet and Lord-willing may live to be 24 years-old in the coming month of February.

Young black woman I witnessed to at the local health clinic here in Hammond where all the pregnant women and truly "single mothers" congregate for care for their children and pregnancies.

I walked on up to the young black woman with her son by her side. She sitting down hunched over in her lap looking at her smartphone.

She looked sad and depressed from the "outside-looking-in"; not getting "personal".

Gave her the "Jesus Christ LOVES You" gospel tract after "introducing" my presence and reason for contacting her. She accepted as I slowly and smoothly "walked away" from the scene whispering prayer that the Lord would work in her heart at that instance with my back turned from her walking away.

The other young white woman; considerably older. Probably in her late twenties or early thirties I figure I saw earlier in the main lobby waiting area by her lonesome. I kept "eyeing" her back-and-forth as we both "looked at each other" sitting across from each other at the opposite sides of the room.

Eventually out of "what have I got to lose" courage in the Spirit in my spirt just had to walk on over to the woman whether she accepted or rejected and handed her a "Jesus Christ LOVES You" gospel tract.

In positive friendly reception to my "surprise" she accepted... Hopefully she is saved... Amen.

More to this story than I care to say though it was a "trying-time" for me to do... 'cause my mind was so "clouded in a fog" of malice and negativity I had to "see His Light" at the end of my storm...

In these instances, I understood "my role" in the circumstances as the only man around women: I *LEAD* as was appropriate in my agency... Such as I could do right... Thank the Lord. Amen.

"Change"...

Yesterday morning I was "on and about" with my family to do a little grocery-shopping at Walmart.

I walked ahead and saw a black woman working for The Salvation Army ringing her bell and hoping to get money donations from all the people walking around. (I previously used to shortly work for The Salvation Army during the time I spent living up in Anacortes, Washington with my family; but that's a whole 'nother story. It's in my employment history, though.)

Needless to say, as a "gesture of thought" I felt led to give a small monetary donation into the red kettle that was up front by the doors of the main Walmart entrance and then I looked back from the left side of my head to "acknowledge her" and for her to see I gave a donation and she said something in agreement like "Thanks" and then I met my family inside Walmart after a time and we spent almost an hour inside doing shopping.

...Fast-forward, turns out before I had even walked up to Walmart I have the instinctive Spirit-led mindset of having a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" gospel tract directly at my disposal in the left-side pocket of my blue jacket to "whip out" and give to someone I felt led to give to as the opportunity presented itself in public.

So, here's the moment: I'm walking out the Walmart with my family going out ahead of me back to the car with the groceries and I see this young black man (he's not that much older than me I believe; either late twenties or early thirties or something...) out sitting by the side of the Walmart exit door I'm coming out of.

You know those kind of people you see hanging around at stores, right? People we might perceive to be homeless, drug addicts, alcoholics, lowlife, etc...

I could say this guy was one of 'em, but can't really be sure. Nor does it matter.

I could say this guy was a "crackhead" and even so, it doesn't matter.

Truth is... WE ALL JUDGE PEOPLE IN SOCIETY! We just do. It's just "human nature" lol. But it's how we respond with the judgment that counts.

Whether we judge people wrongfully or rightfully, we should at least treat everyone with dignity and respect and treat them like they exist in the world as human-beings. That is what I did in this moment: acknowledged and treated this young black man's existence as a fellow human-being.

Here goes; this same young black man I just saw; I'm thinking he's someone I've seen around town for quite a while sometime either hanging out at this Walmart or the local Dollar Tree across N. Thomas Street. I'm seen someone like him before if he's not the guy I have in memory otherwise.

Either way, it doesn't matter to me; for my main objective was to try to get this man to know CHRIST before anything else. His spiritual SALVATION is all that mattered to me.

I handed this young brothah the "Jesus Christ LOVES You" gospel tract I had in my jacket's pocket by INSTINCTIVE REFLEX. Didn't have time to "double guess" or "double think" I just ACTED and whether he would take the tract or not wasn't on me to worry about, but him.

Surprisingly he accepted the folded-up gospel tract I handed him and then looked at it as though maybe hoping it came with some "money" attached lol.

I ain't gonna lie, this guy looked like he was a crackhead or "on some stuff" whatever it might be but he didn't seem like he was wanting to "stop being a crackhead" but sitting by the corner of the Walmart store door panhandling, begging people to give him money to feed his wicked, unhealthy lifestyle habits anytime someone gave him eye contact.

After he received the gospel tract from my hand he started to say quickly, "Change... I need some change" trying to "beg me down" in pity to get me to give him some knowing full-well he's physically healthy looking and seems alright even mentally; he's just wanting me to give him some money to buy drugs, cigarettes, alcohol, etc.

And I was NOT ever about to "enable" a physically-able, mentally-able, healthy-looking young adult to live his sedentary lifestyle.

The black lady workin' for The Salvation Army and an older Hispanic man turned aside to look behind themselves in "surprise" (looked like that to me at least) as I had gave the young brothah a folded-up gospel tract then walked on about my business; but they could have mistaken it for rolled up "money" dollar bills; which is something I sho' wouldn't give this young brothah out here hustling people for his "drug money". Oh no, no, no my friend... I don't roll like that.

You don't need "change" my brothah; you need to go do like every other responsible, respectable adult in society and go WORK FOR YO' MONEY, man!

Quit leechin' off of people to feed your unhealthy habits! Get real! Smh...

I'd be more guilty than the crackhead by giving him money to get dope than he would when there's true homeless or poor people around in need really needing the help; not him... He's just taking advantage of people. Not "financial help"; that's not what he needed.

As I type that, what comes to mind is the story of when Peter and John in the Bible when throughout Jerusalem preaching that Jesus was Christ and about the man who was lame from birth above forty years old sitting at the gate of Jerusalem begging for "change"...
_____________________________________

KJV Acts 3:1-11,

1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ancle bones received strength.

8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.
_______________________________________

When that young black man uttered "Change... I need change..." he spoke the truth: just not the kind of "change" he meant.

He needed "Real Change" and that "Change" is *JESUS* whether he would accept Him or not. That's what I gave him.

We ALL need "REAL CHANGE" in our lives.

We ALL need *JESUS CHRIST*!

Lord Knows, I know so many people throughout my life like this guy that panhandle, live on the streets or live the "lowlife lifestyle" as a way of life to manipulate people into giving them money to fund their drug and various chemical addictions.

I've had even family members and friends say things like "Hey Jed, would you go to the store to buy me a pack of cigarettes?" while me as a Christian knowing cigarettes are not only "unhealthy to the body" but also the spiritual connotation as SINFUL to GOD makes me accountable to NOT "give in" to fulfilling that request because it's WRONG and I'd be a "guilty accomplice" in making someone worse off health-wise, but most importantly worse off spiritually in contributing to THEIR SINFUL HABITS...

That's why when people tell me do "help them do a kind of sin with or for them" I've been training myself in these real life situations with people to correctly always say... *NO*!

Don't ever "help people in their sin". If they do it; it's on them; just don't be an accomplice or you're just as guilty as them IF NOT MORE.

Yeah, I only hope and pray that young brothah really took the Message of that Christian gospel tract to heart and REPENTED if he was already unsaved.

Hopefully if he was a believer the gospel tract "reminded him" of God's Presence in his life to turn back to Him.

Either way, I'm still hoping and praying the best for the young man in life whether I see him again in town or not.

May we all keep him and the many people in the world like him in OUR PRAYERS TO GOD because GOD LOVES THEM and THEY ARE OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS OUT THERE TOO.

Even OUR ENEMIES as Christians we LOVE. Amen...

Bro. Jed

"Shock Da Flock": STREET-PREACHING STYLE!

Well, well, let's see here now...

Last Sunday, March 26, 2017 after church service and the after-service church meeting about the "Easter Egg Hunt" ministry event planned from Faith Memorial Baptist Church (more on that later, God-willing...) -- man I just felt newly ENERGIZED and REINVIGORATED; just "filled with the Spirit" to go outside the church doors PREACHING and WITNESSING THE WORD to people as I walked on down Kress Street on my way home.

Lol.. Seems like I "shocked", "razzled 'n dazzled" and "uncomfortable" a few "brethren" from the church who saw me "street-preaching" walking down on Kress Street... it seems when everyone was getting in their cars and trucks to drive on home. Haha.

Yeah, itt was around from 12:50p.m. to around 1:00p.m. in the afternoon when I started street-preaching outside.

I suppose for many of my regular casual "church-going" Churchian brethren who just "go to church" on Sundays and the whole "usual Modern Christian deal" may take my "stance on Faith" to be...

EXTREME!

But TO ME in all honesty" it's just a "usual" routine deal I do... LED OF THE LORD

I haven't done any "minstry-wise" to me that even I'd consider "extreme" yet lol. This is just "ordinary stuff'" to me. Haha.

Now THAT'S when I really have to SHOCK FOLKS

Not just to "make a scene" and all that "vainglory stuff" but really GET FOLKS ATTENTION TO TURN TO JESUS CHRIST and BE SAVED

People need to WAKE UP

WAKE UP!

... Yet to do or get to that EXTREME LEVEL I've always wanted to do yet...

Gonna be AWESOME when it happens though! Lord-willing!

Yeah, and after a Spirit-fueld" street-preaching expedition after church walking down Kress Street; made it back home to regroup and get ready to go back to church for bible study later that evening...

Around 4:41p.m. walking on my way to 5:00p.m. evening bible study at Faith Memorial Baptist Church I approached and met an "older" young black man with his red cap on walking on the sidewalk of Kress Street.

I had just ONE "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract in my possession at the time and acting on instinct 'cause it was the "perfect" quick opportunity of the moment; I went for it led by the Spirit and handed him the gospel tract.

He's like, "Hey man, What's this? What you giving me this for?" I'm like "...It's a gospel tract, man." and he took it (THANK GOD!) from my hand by God's Grace and went on his way as I was wanting to do the same; making it to church on TIME for bible study...

(P.S. Also, later on just yesterday, I believe I saw the same black man walking on the opposite sidewalk across from me when I walked up Kress Street to make it to Monday Night Prayer at Relentless Church" (formerly "Calvary Christian Center") to fellowship in PRAYER with elder brother "F" or "FM" I'll call him.

Made it there inside the church building pin-point 7:00p.m. on the clock which is when prayer "officially" begins lol. Talk 'bout CLOSE CALL!  So yeah, last night was a good, well-needed night of prayer indeed).

A WHOLE LOT'S been on my mind lately.

Time to SPILL THE BEANS.

Time for some serious REAL TALK coming up soon, brethren. Amen...

Bro. Jed

Little Dog/Big Dog: A Brief Soulwinning Escapade!

On Sunday, March 12, 2017 walking on the sidewalk up on Kress Street, gave elder Hispanic man a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract by 4:32p.m. that evening as I was en route to 5:00p.m. bible study at Faith Memorial Baptist Church.

Later on, gave another "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract to an older Hispanic (Mexican) woman walking with her cute, lil' ol' Chihuahua dog held as a baby in her arms haha lol as a bigger "stalker-like dog" walked by us and around her as though "stalking her" by 6:43p.m. on the right-hand sidewalk of Hoffman Street.

Yep, yep, that stray gray "stalker dog" was a trip a while back lol...

But I "led him off" from the Hispanic lady and mine's trail, "casing him out" to see if he would "sneak-attack" me from the back when I wasn't directly looking at him at all; but every so often then cocked my head to the left or right sides slightly to see if he was still following up from behind me as I "made a loop" walking from Hoffman Street then making a right walking on the sidewalk of Glenarm Street before making a final right turn on the sidewalk of Hahlo Street, walking on the front side entrance of the VECINO Denver Harbor Family Clinic building...

Turns out he was really "stalking for food" and found some "roadkill" or something on the road of Hillsboro Street to munch on then took off roaming up the street...

And afterwards I made it back in for the night... O yea... Amen.

Sudden "Movements" of The "Evangelizing Holy Spirit"...

On Monday, March 13, 2017 I gave a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract to an older Hispanic man with a great jacket and blue jeans on as he said "Hey!" at me walking up on Hahlo Street when I was sitting down on the wooden bench of the METRO bus stop taking a brief rest from walking down Hillsboro Street on my way home from Monday night prayer previously...

He said, "Thanks for giving me this....: as he looked at his phone ad I walk on off for the night from him off the side of the road as I continued walking down Hillsboro Street.

Flash-forward the next day on Tuesday, March 4, 2017, yesterday on the way walking home from the library I met two young Hispanic boys walking on the sidewalk of the opposite side of the road of Kress Street and as the Lord gave me the PERFECT OPPORTUNITY I made my "chance" to walk across the street to meet both boys as I caught them up ahead from the intersecting cross street of Henke Street before they passed over Henke Street.

I gave both young Hispanic boys each a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ and a mini Snickers almond chocolate bar to have saying, "Hey you two: God's Treat for you both... Worked out *JUST RIGHT* too by God's Grace..." I mumbled on as I left the two young boys a bit surprised and baffled like "What? Thanks..." and kept on walking on from 6:07p.m. that evening the Lord Jesus Christ worked in His Spirit to bring about His DIVINE OCCASION for me to meet up with those boys and give them the *SWEET TREAT OF JESUS CHRIST*. Amen!

...

A few days back on Friday, March 3, 2017 I gave a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract to a young Hispanic father walking down the sidewalk of Hillsboro Street with his young son side-by-side around 12:50p.m. that afternoon... It was a good, quick, pleasant "passing by" experience.

Didn't really have to say a "word" to the man but just handed him the gospel tract and at most muttered "Here you go..." as I walked on from them both... Amen.

But TODAY I gave a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract to an elder black man at Cliff Tuttle Park around 11:42a.m.

Gave young black woman smoking a cigarette sitting down at a iron table bench and talking on her phone (under the local green gazebo of the park) a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract around 11:48a.m. Amen...

Also, before that, yesterday on March 8, 2017 around 10:42a.m. gave a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract to a young Hispanic man with earrings, wearing shorts smoking a cigarette walking around circling around the parking lot of the Washateria with his head pointed downwards looking at and "browsing" on his smartphone.

Gave another "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract to an elder black man sitting on a iron bar by the bus stop on Lyons Avenue/Rouse Street intersection of the store/shop plaza where the local Washateria is by 10:48 a.m. just a little while after witnessing to the young Hispanic man as the Spirit gave me opportunity... Amen.

The Gospel Tract EXPRESS!

Yesterday night I was on my back from church since there was no "Monday Night Prayer" this night hosted by elder brother "F"...

So on my way back home walking from Kress Street to walking on the sidewalk down Hillsboro Street I met an "older" young Hispanic man with a full beard, red shorts on and a "tank top" I think smoking a cigarette and I had quite a handful of "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tracts in the left-hand pocket of my black jacket I had on so I just handed the man a gospel tract as we crossed paths lol.

He's like "Hey man, what's this...?" as we kept on walking our own ways and this happened around 7:18p.m. as I checked the time on my phone to "record" what time I had given this man the gospel tract so I could "type this up" as is the case right now.

Also, few minutes later on from that on the side of the road of Hillsboro Street from the edge of the side parking lot of the VECINO Denver Harbor Family Clinic, I came in contact with an elder white man wearing glasses, with a "gruffy-like" shaggy long full beard and curly hair on his head with his backpack on his back and I gave him a gospel tract just by "handing it out" to him and he accepted and took it. All this happened by 7:20p.m. Amen!

That's kinda just how I do and so brethren in Christ who've had the similar experiences: if you just have the "urge" and "courage" to approach and "hand out the gospel tract" just do YOUR PART and if the "targeted person" receives it or not is up to their personal choice; but we the givers must depend on the Influence of the Holy Spirit to work in the heart of the recipient we intend to give the "gift" to.

But Holy Spirit can't physically "work" what we must physically work by PHYSICALLY APPROACHING A PERSON TO GIVE THEM A GOSPEL TRACT. We have to sometimes FORCE ourselves to do the "physical act" and God Almighty, Lord Jesus Christ via Holy Spirit does the SPIRITUAL ACT. Amen!

Today, on my way "walking around town" (still having quite a few handwritten "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tracts in possession) I was walking on Kress Street passing under the "underpass" of East Freeway going up to where "Burger King" was located and when I made it to the "opposite side" of East Freeway of I-10 heading south I looked to my right standing by the "signal lights" and noticed a black woman in her car "waving me" like it's "okay" for me to "cross over" the street.

Likewise, a young Hispanic man in his 18-wheeler white truck "hand-waving" me also to "cross over" despite the "street signals" not saying a "pedestrian" can walk across the road.

Normally I like to obey the "street signal lights" and I wasn't in a hurry to anywhere so I shook my head "no" in bafflement and waited until the pedestrian street signal turned to the "silver person walking" icon before I crossed the road.

I wasn't gonna "take any chances" with people: can't never be sure when someone's gonna "run into you" in their carelessness out here.

People so IMPATIENT and don't want to wait.

Smh... I'll cross the street when I'M READY not when "YOU" the "car driver" "waves me off"... Okay? Okay...

And yeah, that young Hispanic man in his big 18-wheeler white truck took out his phone and "pointed at me" as though he was "recording me" as I walked across the street.

Smh... Don't know for what, but besides being perhaps locally "infamous" (it such be the case, don't really personally "care for it" but it is what it such be the case) ain't much to "go on" from "recording me"; unless trying to "invest in something" haha.

Also, later on, this is when I'm at the Selena Quintanilla Perez Park I met a Hispanic man sitting at a grayish-black iron bench and table space under a gazebo and calmly handed him a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract. This was at 11:33a.m. today after I looked at the time on my phone.

Flash-forward, now afternoon I'm back in my usual spot of town at Cliff Tuttle Park outside of the local library and having met him earlier by walking off to the side of the sidewalk by the CITGO gas station and convenience store I saw him at the corner of the sidewalk by the road extending out to East Freeway going north to Downtown.

He's a young black man, a "peer" in age though I think a good bit older than me.

We head nod and I wave my hand "Hey, what's up?" as we go about our business.

Filling up at the local "watering hole" AKA the "water fountain"; I was looking at him from the distance.

I was standing at the Joe and Theresa Padilla Skate Park that is part of the whole "Cliff Tuttle Park".

He's all sitting down on the ground with a white drink cup that looks like the cups you get at Burger King or fast food joints "panhandling" for money.

Going on "intuition" seems like he's made a "lifestyle" of this; as a perpetual "habit". Just hoping he "gets lucky" and someone gives him some change or money in his cup so he can go buy some smokes, drinks or something. Saw a cig or "cigarette" in his hand(s) if not mistaken: don't think he's using the money for "serious needs" from what I see from the "outside-looking-in"; but I don't care about that. Not my "focus".

Man has natural "nappy" spiky Afro hair and don't know if he comes it or not; keeps it up but I digress... don't care about that "personal stuff" just "details" noticed.

My "focus" and "goal" with him was to put him on the Path of JESUS CHRIST. Screw everything else before that.

My "goal" is to lead him to HEAVEN and NOT HELL. Amen.

'Cause we're all gonna die and I want to help take people to the "Good Place".

So... after a while I just feel this "urge" and better yet OPPORTUNITY in the moment to just waltz on over to the man already sitting on the ground crisscross applesauce-style" and handed him a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract to have in hand.

He's like, "Hey, sup, thanks man!" And me being the usual "silent mute" for most "passing conversations" just say "Yeah..." if I said anything at all lol as I just wanted to "pass by" and not really "engage" him in conversation at the time. Was one of those "quick moments" on the fly; no "conversation-time" like I've had with some people in the past.

Other than that, today kinda a "mixed day" with a little mild "depression" if I'd call it that, but not really.

Was sunny a bit, then turned back overcast, gloomy and "cloudy" in the sky above then "rained for a bit" now darker at 4:12p.m. right now typing this up...

Kinda "screwed around" online skim-watching "Naruto" vids on YouTube" got distracted a bit then remembered "Oh hey, gotta type up my 'business' lol!" Wasting time Smh... But needed a "break" but not that kind of "leisure break". *BACK TO TASK!* Amen!

Anyways, from yesterday and today 4 souls got the gospel to them directly hand-to hand. To GOD be all the GLORY.

Hope each one of these four men the Lord gave me opportunity to witness His Gospel to might trust on Him and be SAVED.

Today, warts and all, been a decent day. Can't really complain.

Not my "ideal" but not my "worst" that I don't like.

Amen!

In Contact With An Elder On The Way To Monday Night Prayer...

Yesterday, Monday, September 19, 2016 I was walking on my way to Monday night prayer last night that's usually opened up by elder brother "Mr. F." 7:00p.m. on Monday nights.

So I was walking on the sidewalk of Hillsboro Street having passed by the Woolworth Street cross-intersection street on Hillsboro and I came into walking contact with an elder white man with a long bearded ponytail walking along his way with his walking cane.

He basically reminds me of the "look" of Mr. "Dumbledore" with the glasses and the ponytail beard of the wicked Harry Potter novel series but the elder white man wore a regular "cap" hat.

I politely and casually gave the elder white man a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract around 7:10p.m. on my way to Monday Night Prayer with elder brother F. I didn't even think on it; just REFLEX of Spirit led me to take advantage of the opportunity and the elder white man received the folded gospel tract. I prayed shortly after as I continued walking. He's received the "Good News" but only GOD can work in his heart to lead him to SALVATION if he isn't already a fellow (elder) brother in Christ.

I hope and pray the best for this elder white man. I've seen him a few times inside the local library and walking along the sidewalk of Kress Street outside the black iron fenced perimeter of the local library.

Afterwards, after prayer with elder brother F. at "Calvary Christian Center" Church I street-preached "slightly" a little bit as the Devil, SATAN was "fighting me" with multiple voices in my head trying to confuse me from knowing the difference if I should actually street-preach or not so I just "did" to "test the waters" and eventually come to a conclusion to continue on or not and stop.

Eventually, I heard the Voice of the Spirit give me clarity in telling me plainly "NO..." and was not led of the Lord to do any street-preaching anytime this day. Amen.

A Good Sunday Church Day Coming Home...

On Sunday, September 18, 2016, just before 12:15p.m. walking on home from church on Kress Street, it was a great day today!

I not only made it to church ON TIME but I attended the early church meeting with our pastor, his wife and the brethren in the choir and various church ministries before the actual church service started. It was a good swell day indeed... Led of by the SPIRIT OF THE LORD! Amen!

So, to the main point: the Lord spoke to me in the Spirit telling me to give this elder Hispanic man  who just got out of his truck walking to his house a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract for him to receive as he said "thanks" and I nodded "yes" and was led of the Lord by the Spirit to walk the rest of the way home... A good "uneventful day indeed"...

Thought I was gonna "street preach" today but the Lord's Voice in the Spirit told me "No...", so no street-preaching this day... Yep, this was a GOOD SUNDAY. Amen.

"Stink Eye"! ;P

Just now a few minutes ago I had stepped outside the library from working on the computer to walk outside and confront some people standing outside the entrance of the library.

The short, older young black woman with the cap on her head pushing the baby stroller with her little one" girl (can't tell if the little girl's her daughter or her taller young black woman friend with the hair twists) gives me a "mean-looking" stink eye as I made my way back to sit down in my seat.

Why, lol, are you looking so mean at me? I haven' done you bad at anything. ;D Don't ever really know you.

She was the woman I had gave a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract card to a few weeks back.

Turns out I walk out the library door and I'm just walking but expecting to get into an argument with her. I was led of the Spirit to walk out; I was mildly grieved, upset, disappointed and "angry" at her unfounded "chip on her shoulder"self-projection" on me. I had done nothing to make look so "mean-looking" at me. I hate seeing those "ugly faces" in my vision.

A young black man with hair twists and a cap on his head lookin' like a real "thug" as is called got some "grills" on his teeth and I think if I recall correctly his name is "Cornbread" or "Catfish" lol. Street black folk names; but serious...

So I gave this older, young black man the handwritten by pen "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract I had made last night along with some quick pocket change.

Could have gave him more but he made like he was in a rush to somewhere before I had chance to offer him more change. I was willing to give a bit more to go along with.

Anyways I don't really want to "get all into it" but the black woman I've met before; she's all like cursing me out calling me a "b*tch *ss n*gga" and I'm standing there off to the side of the concrete building with my back and leg against the wall engaging her coolly in her arguing.

I thank God He gives me the Grace to think calmly and rationally and not respond back in my PRIDE of anger, cursing and putting her in her place.

She's all like "B*tch *ss n*gga I'mma grown *ss woman!" (Well act like one!) and she's all condescending on me like I wouldn't "help her out" cuz she homeless after I already told him I'm going through a "homeless transitionary period" myself and not completely out the woods myself.

I only had a dollar and some change on me and she's all like "This n*gga wouldn't give me a dollar so I could buy a hamburger" which is something I don't recall or remember if she told me last time we crossed paths.

I remember her asking me for a "dollar" but not her telling me what she was gonna use it for. Last time she asked me for 50 cents so she could get me to go with her and buy her a cigarette to which I refused.

Now, when she brought up the "dollar deal" again as I've moved on in life and she's thinking I remember all this; she did NOT make it clear she was going to buy a hamburger with it; but she asked if she could have some "bus fare" money" to which I flatly said NO.

I didn't get back a response to where she was going and what her plans were to go with the dollar I could have given her. I might need that myself. No telling what she would have actually done with the dollar and I would have needed that for PROPER PURPOSES! I might need to actually get the bus to handle some important business. I have no time to "handout" for "leisure trips".

Anyways she's all cursing me "guilt-tripping" me in vain fashion to make like I'm so "a-hole" when in actuality SHE WAS THE ONE BEING THE REAL A-HOLE! lol At least I wasn't all angry cursing her out but calmly reproving and countering her foul words back at her. I didn't call her a "b*tch" as it's called, even though she was acting like one. I could've "snapped" got angry back, curse and argue like a heathen thug n*gga but I knew better than that to do, obviously...

I had to do the proper, RIGHT THING as a *CHRISTIAN* to keep my personal life testimony in good standing. Be the proper EXAMPLE as (unworthy) earthly representative of Lord Jesus Christ.

She's all like "You don't know my heart! I've helped all kinds of homeless people!" yadayadayada and I'm like "So I have, you don't know me as well." and we went a little "back 'n forth" on that as I deflected her accusations and assumptions as she said "N*ggas be assuming stuff like you thought I was gonna use that dollar to buy a cigarette." I'm like "No, I didn't know what you were gonna do with that dollar. You didn't tell me you were going to buy a hamburger."

She just saying I'm "assuming" about her" when in actuality the script is FLIPPED and she's actually ASSUMING what SHE ASSUMED I thought about her. All she wanted was the money from me and to go; she didn't want to get to me know me and "make friends" as being a fellow homeless person; and go further and tell me the details of what she intented to do. Just to "rip off" something frpm me and "screw me over" and don't care about being clear and true. Just wanted my buck andto leave.

Anyways, lol, she could have been MORE HONEST and since she obviously had the "time to "fuss and argue" with me what she should have done was talk in "regular conversation" like good, civil people do and politely discuss her intentions. But no; she can't do like that.

I didn't and don't respect her horrible attitude she showed towards me. She knows she could have (in her words) "be a grown "*ss woman" and act like one but instead she's all in a "hissy fit" like an emotionally-immature lil' girl. Not behaving like a "grown woman". Do better than that. I'm a stranger to you, and haven't done you any bad or harm personally but good since we first met passing by in life. She doesn't know me at all, like I don't know her.

Lord Knows I would be willing to help any way I could at the time as long as I have an idea of what's going on in her situation. Hey, so she's homeless, so I am! We could have discussed some things to see how we both could have helped each other since we're all in the same boat; but she wasn't being "understanding" in that respect. That kind of thinking is beyond her at this point.

lol... Seems like her girlfriend had the smart sense to "keep quiet" and not condone or "go along" with her friend's pointless, senseless, arguing at a stranger. I'm not sold on her either; she probably has her own "ugly ways" as well; but hides it better than her friend. But at least friend her is honest in her "real self" upfront. I hate dealing with fakes. And yeah, I got my own "ugly ways" as well when I'm in sin; but I don't impose my problems and feelings on other people. If I got a problem I withdraw and keep to myself. I don't "lash out" against people who aren't messing with me and ruining other people's day when I could be doing other stuff.

I'm not going around to "hand out" money or resources to people living on the streets that have been locals around town making it all this time before I even made the scene here. They are just taking advantage of people's good kindness for WEAKNESS to use people to live off of because they are too lazy and selfish to work and take care of themselves as ADULTS!

I can tell the difference of "sincere homelessness" to the people out here just being homeless to "abused the system" and use people to live off of their whole lives for drug habits, criminal activity and general laziness of taking care of own self in life.

If you're gonna live a homeless life out of personal FREE WILL, please do your best to live off your own without selfishly begging people for money so you can live off people your whole life without taking care of yourself as you should.

There's a difference between those homeless people who've suffered great financial loss and/or been thrown out of society for mental illness and various reasons who are really trying to make it back into society with a home and a life in contrast to people who chronically live on the streets homeless as a lifestyle to live off of people like leeches because that's what they do their whole lives: LEECH!

I'm not an original "local resident" here in Denver Harbor, Houston, Texas. I'm from Seattle, Washington. I'm merely a visitor on a Mission! I'm not planning on staying here long-term. I'm making plans to leave this place in accordance to God's Timing as I have my "ducks-in-a-row".

For her, I don't know her life or her plans. I don't know if she plans or intends on living homeless on the streets for a transitionary period or long-term in her life. I don't know if she has people, family and friends 'round the area that could take her in or help her out in resources. She may be a resident in town; she hasn't told me any information 'bout what's going on with her; but every time she sees me she's asking me for "money". What about me? I'm homeless to. She never offered to help me out as well. Amen.

There's social security, welfare, food stamps and resources she could get for herself and kids if that's the case. She's a poor woman with kids she can get help. I'm a single, young black man in society who could be prejudiced as a "thug" or "lowlife" in society's eyes just because I'm homeless. She's just trying to use people.

I have family and friends here in Houston but I do NOT have the "safety net" she may have. From what I can see with all her angry cursing and "butt on her shoulders" she's probably pissed her family and/or friends off from helping her which really tells you something about her disposition. If you spoke to her in person I'm sure you'll understand.

I'm not gonna "enable someone" to leech off of me money and curse me senselessly when they got a "backup group" of homeless friends to help them out there. I don't have that safety net. I'm a newbie in town with no "trustworthy" local connections. Remember, it's the GHETTO I'm living in. Nobody trusts or does nothing for nobody without anything in return. It's just me and the Lord out here. That's the reality. I'm going solo by necessity not by my own personal choice completely. It'd be good to know I could have some friends and people who could "back me up" as I would them as I would need help; but I don't have that good luxury.

She has support. I've seen her group. She and her girlfriend with their kids and street folk hanging out under the green gazebo at the park. I don't know their lives. And who is out there gonna help a homeless, poor, broke homeless young black man? NOBODY really besides rare "exceptions" of individuals (such as myself for example. Yeah, yeah, I'm an example of this group. Like it or not, okay?).

In reality of the situation I would have her back but (I have an instinctive gut and TRUE feeling) she wouldn't have mine if I could better help her out in any way. She's out only for herself and HERS; I'm not a part of it. I get screwed over and she makes it without a care for my person. I give her the "benefit of a doubt" but like the Lord says "don't sleep on the pledge".

The man's the one to provide and protect and when it comes to the world of men and women. The men do the providing and protecting. The women do the nurturing and caretaking maintenance.

I accept help as necessary from women but don't really like to be helped by women partly because of "pride" as a man wanting to handle everything myself taking care of me and others and also because I don't like being seen as "weak" in any situation (that's something I'm having to grow and deal with in the Lord); when men are the ones to be helping out women in terms of survival and the sacrificial sex in live.

Why else is it commanded in Scripture that in the love of a husband towards his wife, he would give his life to die so that his wife (and friends; loved ones) could live just as even the Groom Lord Jesus Christ gave up His Life on the Cross to save His Newly-Wedded Bride the CHURCH!

Only MEN have this natural, instinctive and expected sacrificial life instinct and social mandate of society to sacrifice their own self-preservation for the good of the people, the tribe and society. NOT women. Like it or not. It's true and natural.

Women are to be kept alive and live to ("properly") get married and make babies to keep society reproduced in future generations.

Men build, maintain and protect the functioning of society and all the conveniences we take for granted in our daily modern lives from housing, plumbing, electricity, vehicle transportation, refrigerators, cell phones and all modern conveniences will enjoy in our daily lives.

The very fact she's all cursing, mad and "angry" at me a total stranger to her she doesn't know personally at all besides us seeing each other passing through town in public but never really "hanged out" together any time to really have time to know one another.

I absolutely HATE selfish-projection of people's sneaky motives on me! Quit trying to USE ME! NO LOVE SHOWN! Amen!

That all being said, the "silver lining" in the whole ordeal is she said "I still have that paper you gave me." and that right there made my day as far as I'm concerned with her.

Now, if I see her around passing through I'm gonna treat her well and normal as I've always done to anyone else. I won't "purposely avoid her" unless the Spirit bids me not to make an appearance around her.

Regardless, as is customary for me, I'm keeping her in prayer as well as all the people I meet in my daily life and "no hard feelings" or "grudges" or hold on.

I can tell she's just speaking out angrily from pain and frustration in her life of how hard life has been for her whether she brought some of it on herself or "life happened" only God knows her full story.

All I can do to people is love them, forgive them, pray for them and understand that the way they act towards me is more of an expression of what's going on in their hearts than any "personal hate" towards me; as I'm simply a "stranger" passing by she doesn't know.

May God Almighty, Lord Jesus Christ BE with us all in His Love, Wisdom, Forgiveness and TRUTH. Amen!

Bro. Jed

A Sunny Day WALKING In Town To The Library...

Earlier today this morning I was walking on my way to the library here to use the Wi-Fi internet connection for my laptop to do some "business" online.

A good walk out walking up Hoffman Street, waving "hi" to my neighbors and local residents with greetings I stopped at Lyons Washateria for a quick break to leave a small "Christian, King James Bible-believing Christian Websites" illustrated paper slip at the telephone booth before resuming my walk on Lyons Avenue walking to a roofed bus stop area bench to hang for a while where I also left another "Christian, King James Bible-believing Christian Websites" illustrated paper slip there before leaving.

So, I'm walking on Shotwell Street then walking on the sidewalk on the outskirts of the Fiesta grocery store parking lot area and then walking on the roadside of East Freeway on my way to the backend side of "Cliff Tuttle Park" on my way to the library.

I'm taking in all the scenery. Nice sun, the houses, places I could witness and people I could witness to; formulate plans and ideas in my head of possibilities as I walk on by.

So, I eventually make it walking over to Cliff Tuttle Park after having walked by two Hispanic men in their white van pulled over by an Icehouse bar" hanging out before going. Both men seemed to look at me in "amazement" for one reason or another; hope it's all associated with CHRIST as I saw them in friendly sight and walked about my business.

Now walking on the sidewalk on the "square" of the entire Cliff Tuttle Park I see an older-than-me but "young" Hispanic man walking in my direction with his young small kid daughter joyfully running and skipping before him.

As I walk closer I smiled and friendly waved to the young girl as I distanced myself a bit from being in the way to not be to close to the child and respect the natural "parental boundary of safety" of "parent and child".

My aim in the Lord was to give the father a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract which I manage led of the Lord in the SPIRIT as the Hispanic father said "Thank you man" and I nodded "Yes" and we moved on in our directions...

Later on I also saw a dog "frolicking" around the park. Must be a "stray" I thought. I kept my distance away from the dog since I didn't really want to "bother" or "pester" it.

Time I'm going close over to a bench the dog was going my direction and when the dog saw me it stopped and barked at me a while as I motioned myself away from it; then I walked as though I was going to it and it "sped off" running away as terribly frightened at a human-being. I wasn't gonna hurt you "poor doggie" lol. Just passing through.

Anyways, so I'm pondering to myself in my "Christian journey" in life: "I'm no longer a "rookie" in the Lord but I'm no aged, seasoned veteran in Christ either..."

I have much to learn and much to do and by His Timing and Grace I hope to do what the Lord intends for me to do in this earthly life before His Coming.

Two days back I was late to church and my local pastor confronted me about it and sternly but kindly reminded me to "be to church on time as an usher" because those in service of the church should be ON TIME before the whole congregation of the church assembles.

I was ASHAMED of myself because I FAILED *principal* of BEING ON TIME repeatedly that was becoming a CHRONIC TARDINESS I must break out of starting this week going to church at Wednesday night bible study and especially to Sunday morning church service coming later on...

Yeah, instead of "beating myself up" in condemnation and guilt I can only DO THE RIGHT THING in place of "correcting" my failures and mistakes.

The lesson's simple. Now all I gotta do is the "hard part" of DOING IT. No excuses. Amen!

Bro. Jed

Bright Sunny Morning Street Preaching His Word! Amen!

Today, earlier today, I was led of the Lord to go out and street preach His Word having walked up Hoffman Street and got my large-sized reddish-brown burgundy bible out to witness His Word (King James Version Holy Bible [KJV]).

As I walked on slowly and increased the pace walking up Hillsboro Street I was holding the Bible up to a few people driving by in their trucks and cars driving by.

Waved up the Word to a Hispanic man who "waved his hand" "yeah, I know. I get it" as he drove on by.

I think I witnessed to him again as he was driving by again as I walked up Hillsboro Street lol.

Yeah, I don't try to intentionally "impose" the Word on people a second time I've witnessed to the first time; but it happens as the case may be.

Before that though, I a few young Hispanic kids, a boy and a girl peering through the car windows flashed pleasant smiles of joy and "awe" as I held up the Bible for them to see.

The adults in the car driving by were in "amazement" themselves I think.

Now I've been living here in Houston, Texas of the Denver Harbor area of the Fifth Ward District for just over a year now and I suppose people are "familiar" with me being the "black street preacher guy" in town.

Not for my "glory" or for some vain purpose to "make a name for myself" but I preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ (KJV 1 Corinthians 15:1-4) for dear NECESSITY is laid upon me: like elder brother great man of God the apostle Paul "Woe is ME if I preach NOT the Gospel!"

If I just "quit" street preaching, handing out gospel tracts and witnessing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people that I've consistently been doing now these three years and go back to living a "worldly life" as a Christian I know I'm DECEIVING MYSELF.

If I "go back" to carnal, "easy" living after the compromising world as a believer I KNOW I'm not doing what GOD WANTS ME TO DO!

I'll always have that "guilty-conscious" in the back of my mind saying "You should be ministering His Word; not "taking the easy way out" to avoid persecution and your life's calling".

Smh... so many great things have happened to me in the Ministry the Lord has laboured with me in the Spirit that I can't share here all at once; but it's amazing the things God does for His Children.

The kids that were in that car seemed to look at me with a "gleam" in their eyes as though I'm so kind of "hero" person or something lol. I'm nobody special, just a blessed unworthy servant of a GREAT GOD I'm glad to call my SAVIOUR! Amen!

It's something, all the "hand wave" I've received from people fall under one of two distinct categories I believe:

1. Carnal believers in Christ who have a "lukewarm attitude" concerning their Christian walk for Christ and don't want to go the "extra mile" to minister and witness the Gospel of Jesus Christ (KJV 1 Corinthians 15:1-4) to unsaved people.

2. Unsaved people who continually reject God and His Christ knowing a God exists but they want to live life after their own personal self will. They willingly continue to IGNORE God even after He's made it clear, GOD EXISTS and LORD JESUS CHRIST THE SON is The Way, The Truth and The Life.

Well, there's more I intended to write in this post, but I think this'll suffice 'til next time, God-willing...

Alright then, LOVE everyone in the Holy Precious Blood Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and Lord-willing you'll hear from me at some later time. Amen!

~ Sincerely,

Bro. Jed

On The Way To Monday Night Prayer...

Alright now, yesterday, Monday, August 29, 2016 around 6:45p.m. no street-preaching today (as commanded by the Lord) on my way to Monday night prayer meeting at Calvary Christian Center church I was walking down Hoffman Street with my Bible in hand and also had a gospel tract in pocket ready to hand out.

By His Spirit He Spoke and told me to give the short young Hispanic man with the gray T-shirt and gray cap on with his blue jeans on a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract I had in store to pass out as soon as opportunity presented itself.

He's like "Oh thanks, man" as I calmly walked on my way from him and we went about our business. Amen.

Homelessness Shopping Cart Travel

So today, Thursday, August 18, 2016, anticipating my coming "homelessness" once again I packed up some of my bags and walked down Hoffman Street and stopped at the Lyons Washateria for a quick break before walking down Lyons Avenue.

On the sidewalk by the Cash America Pawn saw a Fiesta shopping cart and decided to put my bags and belongings in it.

So I pushed this red and gray Fiesta shopping cart on my way down Lyons Avenue to the local library I routinely visit.

I had to "get accustomed" to people in public looking at me in "sneers" or "overlooking my existence" as a homeless person so they can "bypass the reality" of how hard life can be to make it out here.

I don't respect people who look down on the homeless, poor and unfortunate people, but I do care and "watch out" for their own good when they least expect or if they're even thinking of it.

Notwithstanding, I didn't even have to be necessarily homeless to be "looked down upon" by people ignoring my existence passing by in their cars indifferent towards my plight.

I don't want "pity" here and that's not what I'm talking about here.

I'm talking about the coldness of heart and INDIFFERENCE of heart displayed by the people who only talk down about homeless people and never actually try to help them. Like they get some kind of "high superiority feeling" or "kick" when they see someone down in life so they can feel better about themselves like they are "better" than other people.

At this point in life, when I was first homeless I was frightened and ashamed not knowing what to do and where to go to get back on with my life. That feeling is there in the natural at times even now for me, but I've gotten better at learning how to survive and God-willing will become even better.

As I'm even typing this, I don't know and can't guarantee when I'll be posting on this website, Google+, Twitter and Facebook and other online social media account projects I hope to develop upon throughout time in the Ministry.

Lord knows I'm also hoping to put together a Christian Homelessness Survivalist Guide Book to share my own advice, tips and counsel to people of what I've learned from real world life experience of surviving on the streets as a homeless person. I think it'll be made into an pdf. eBook file before I ever think of doing hard cover real book formats somewhere down the line if it's worth the investment... I make good stuff though. I like doing a QUALITY JOB in everything I do. Amen.

I personally don't really "believe" in buying "electronic books" online on the internet. I would rather download a free pdf. eBook release of some work but I wouldn't purchase an eBook with money.

I'd rather buy a hard cover book of print in person that some "electronic file".

In fact, I don't even really buy any books anymore except King James Version Holy Bibles (KJV) the ONLY Book in my opinion worth spending any money on to buy. I'd buy a Bible before any other worldly secular book or even Christian book by a Christian author. That's just my opinion.

If there's a good deal around on anything, I'm willing to consider changing my mind for purchasing but in general I only buy King James Bibles FIRST then anything else from there. Amen.

Okay, okay, back to the story....

So I met this short young black women around 1:20p.m.-something sitting on top of one of the green iron benches underneath the concrete patio of the green gazebo as I pushed on by in my shopping cart.

At first I thought she hollered to me "I'll take your bags!" but now I'm thinking she may have said "I'll take you basket!" meaning "shopping cart".

I didn't understand what she was saying at first and said "Can't understand you. Whazzup?" as I approached near her to understand what she was saying.

lol From a distance she looked like a short young black boy or man since she had a shaved head and wearing a cap. Couldn't quite tell she was a woman until closer visual examination of her chest as I saw her person.

Don't get me wrong at all lol. I wasn't "starring at her breasts". I wasn't lusting. I was and still am in "no mood" for nonsense... as usual.

So yeah, I could tell she was a woman by her "voice" as I heard it clearer getting closer to her. It was wet, rainy and loud outside of the passing noises of numerous vehicles, trucks and cars so it dispersed out a lot of noise. Amen.

So, she asks "Can I have you basket?". I said "Yeah, I don't need it anymore." She said "You staying around here?" I'm like "No, I'm 'bout to go into the library to handle so business. You can keep the cart. I don't need it no more. I can get another one." and we she smiled in a good spirit saying "Thanks" and we briefly parted ways...

After that quick 'n timely exchange, the short, young, shaved-head black woman was waving with her hands for me to come back to her. I don't follow after women "waving me" to come to them; THEY COME TO ME. A man LEADS, the woman FOLLLOWS. Amen.

So I just stood there and watched until she actually CAME TO ME so I can see where she was going with this. Remember, I don't know her. She's a stranger to me as I am to her.

This is just some random woman I met at the park. She looks like she's been on the streets for quite some time and knows the "ins-and-outs" so I kept to myself. I didn't know if she had some kind of weapon like a gun or knife she could have "pulled off" on me to mess me up and jack my stuff if she had those intentions. I didn't think she did, but one can never be for absolute certain what someone intends to do. You don't know what's on people's minds; only GOD knows. Amen.

That aside, I wasn't at all "fearful"or "worried" about my personal safety but "cautious" as one has to be trying to survive while passing through the streets. You'll know it when you EXPERIENCE IT. Amen.

So, long story short she said, "Can you go with me by the "mobile" at the Fiesta so I can go get me a cigarette?" I'm like thinking to myself "WOW! Why would I do that?!" lol so what I told her was a flat out "No, I'm not going with you over there for a cigarette. I got stuff to do. You don't need that stuff. You need to be trying to make it; not worrying about some cigarette." and she lightly laughed and "chuckled" at my statement as I spoke the truth to her in LOVE cuz she knows buying cigarettes would just be a waste of money. Need that money for FOOD not "getting high" lol. Smh...

Also, we parted paths again and in my spirit I was stirred up: You know, I'm just going to tell this woman about the Lord Jesus Christ because there's no guarantee I might see her again out here ever again. So I followed instinct and got out the "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ white cardboard card I had written and illustrated weeks prior to finally hand over to someone.

I didn't even pray or need to at this point to consult the Spirit of Christ; this just happened so natural, instinctively and URGENTLY. I went and gave her the "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ white cardboard card that she took and said "Thanks". I said, "Here's something I feel led to give you since it's no guarantee I might see you out here again".

She understood; probably wasn't ever expecting anything like that, but it happened.

Thing is, I just GO FOR IT. Worst case scenario she says "No" and I just have the Gospel tract card to give to someone else later. I just pray for her that the Lord works in her heart that she may live in the flesh to repent at a later appointed time by God. Only GOD knows.

But I thank GOD the gifting was successful and she received the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Hopefully she believes and is SAVED. GLORY be to GOD! Amen!

Bro. Jed

The Gospel Sent To An Elder Hispanic Man Near The Local Washateria...

Yesterday, on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, by God's Grace in PRAYER I witnessed Christ to an elder Hispanic man around 2:25p.m. by giving him a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract standing at the side of the front door of "Teran's Barber Shop" nearby the local Washateria doing laundry... Amen.

Salvation On Hoffman Street... Street-Preaching on Kress Street

On Monday, July 18, 2016 it was a sunny, lazy, calm evening after a few brief rainstorm spells...

Around 5:45p.m. gave a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract to an older Hispanic woman walking with bags outside of great aunt's house on Hoffman Street in my white tank top shirt and brown slippers.

Said, "Felt led to give you this..." to the older Hispanic woman and she smiled.

Saw, ran and "chased down" the two elder Hispanic men walking together on each side of the gray Fiesta shopping cart and gave them both a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract.

They looked at me in awe and shock as they talked to one another and both said "Thanks" and I nodded my head "Yes" gracefully and left the two men on their way... Amen! :)

Later on that same day, around 6:50p.m., street-preached His Word (King James Version Holy Bible [KJV]) on the way to Monday Night Prayer Meeting walking on Hillsboro Street then took a right walking on Kress Street.

Met elder brother black man, brother "F" I'll call him and prayed my heart out before leaving for the night...

On my way back home came across a young Hispanic man (most likely a young teenager) walking on the sidewalk of Kress Street with his smartphone's ear buds on and I said as I walked back towards him, "For you to get" as I handed him a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract; and he's like "thanks" and I walked on the way home... Amen.

Spirit Walk: Listening To The VOICE Of The Holy Spirit TALK

Today, Wednesday, July 6, 2016 I met the VOICE of the Lord today speaking in my conscious mind as I was on my way to the library... He was "Walking with me"...

The Lord told me when to leave from home to go to the library and I thank God I went on HIS TIMING and NOT MINE. I OBEYED this time.

Also, as I was walking down Hoffman Street 'til I got to Lyons Avenue by the right-hand corner Lyons Washateria; I went over by the phone booth and left a "LOVE JESUS CHRIST LOVES ALL PEOPLE!" white paper slip with the Christian, King James Bible-believing Christian Websites underneath: 1. www.jesus-is-savior.com and 2. www.theabalonekid.com or 3. www.supernaturaltruthinchrist.com as a combination of two Christian websites I wrote on the front and back of the "LORD JESUS CHRIST LOVES ALL PEOPLE" white paper slip labels.

Anyways, instead of taking a left on Lyons to go my usual, "routine" route to the library, the Lord by the SPIRIT told me to do something new this time.

He said, "Go over to your right and walk down forward" and I did so and got to Shotwell Street.

Now at the intersection, He told me, "Cross over and go over to that lady by the bus stop area" and I did.

The Lord told me to hand the elder black lady the "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract I had on hand in my left jeans pocket.

Turns out as I made the attempt the elder black woman refused and did not want the gospel tract, but all worked well in politeness.

An older white man sitting by the METRO bus stop on the other side of Lyons saw the whole scene witnessing my "rejection" and I think the older Hispanic man also, driving by in his truck...

Anyways, I wasn't really upset the lady did not accept the gospel tract I was going to give her. I had PASSED THE TEST: I actually OBEYED GOD in FAITH and WALKED ON OVER TO THE WOMAN to give her a gospel tract. It was not guarantee she would have accepted it or not, but God knoweth. My "test" was to see if I would OBEY God when He "trusted" me to go through with fulfilling one of His requests. I thank GOD I actually did.

Even so, even though the elder black lady did not accept the gospel tract, it was a moment of WITNESSING GOD and the GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST so that she may have this encounter in her memory that perhaps, peradventure GOD will use to turn her heart if she's an unbeliever.

That's the thing about sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with people, brethren, it's not a "guarantee" people will accept hearing the "Good News" and convert to new BORN AGAIN believers right away; but AT LEAST they will have the benefit of a doubt in their minds that perhaps THERE IS A GOD and perhaps THERE IS AN AFTERLIFE I should be concerned about and know more about... THAT'S THE OBJECTIVE.

Only GOD can bring people to SALVATION.

OUR DUTY as Christians is to AT FIRST SHARE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST with unsaved people so they AT LEAST KNOW THERE IS A GOD AND A SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD NAMED "JESUS CHRIST" so at least people have that thought of memory in their minds to work in their HEARTS.

Christians: we PRESENT; we are the AFFECT. Whether people stick around long enough for them to hear us share the Gospel of Jesus Christ (KJV 1 Corinthians 15:1-4) and/or hand them a gospel tract they accept is up to THEM. We can't control the "outcomes" and that's NOT our purpose. We do NOT "force" people to accept Jesus, believe in God and convert to Christianity. That's what GOD does. Amen.

ONLY GOD brings people to REPENTANCE and SALVATION. GOD is the EFFECT. Amen!

So, afterwards, after having that brief encounter with the elder black lady at the bus stop, I crossed back over Shotwell Street of the intersection on Lyons Avenue and continued walking on Lyons on my usual route to the library...

Came across walking and waved to an older black man driving his dark blue garbage truck on Lyons towards the area I walked from... He threw up his two fingers giving me a friendly "peace sign" to which I acknowledged by waving my hand to him in reciprocal respect. Hmmm... seems like a lot of the locals are getting used to "me" but not really *me* exactly: the WORD OF GOD (King James Version Holy Bible [KJV]) is what I'm standing for and "representing".

I believe the people are "getting The Message" whether some agree or disagree, I think God has stirred up some people to be HIS SUPPORTERS. Amen.

Thus, on my way their at the Woolworth Street cross-street I came across a cardboard packaging of "Black Mamba" condoms and using a green Sprite bottle to pick it up; I crossed onto the opposite side of Lyons on the library side of Cliff Tuttle Park and threw away that condom cardboard packing and green Sprite plastic bottle into the trash. I washed my hands thoroughly with warm/hot water and soap when I got in the library. I didn't know why exactly but something in my spirit COMPELLED me to pick up that condom cardboard labeling packaging and THROW IT AWAY; get RID OF IT.

Such sexual immorality influences had to be "disposed of" to twist and warp, naïve, unsuspecting and "innocent" minds with the gutter of "sexual perversions".

Yeah, just like one time before I was sitting at the old gray, brown iron table here at the park and found one or TWO porno discs on the grass by the cement pavement underneath the table.

The Devil, Satan was TEMPTING me in my "old ways" of pornography watching to "pick up the films" to watch at home later... in "privacy" but I KNEW BETTER lol. THIS TIME!

I didn't want to "get caught" with this "trap" like I've been trapped before and GOD knew that and gave me the STRENGTH to "recognize" this trap: I mean the porno disc(s) were like in "perfect condition" to be taken and viewed on a DVD player on TV or on my laptop; but thankfully and gracefully GOD stirred up my spirit in those "struggling three (3) minutes of indecision and apprehension" to FINALLY pick up a stick to pick up the porno disc(s) in the hole center and put on the cement and "snap them up" breaking them apart before throwing them away "deep down" into the trash" where nobody else (besides the garbage collectors and homeless people) would "excavate" to.

Yeah, anytime I seen opportunity to GET RID OF the Enemy's Vices and Devices I do my best to DESTROY his wicked, ungodly influences, drowning and perverting men into PERDITION. Too much evil in this world to let it go unchecked and unchallenged!

May the Lord Jesus Christ be TRUE and EVERY MAN a LIAR. Amen!

~ Sincerely,

Bro. Jed

A Brief Spontaneous "Piggly Wiggly" Surprise...

It's been a great while since I've had good opportunity to be able to give someone one of my handwritten " Jesus Christ LOVES ...
