A Sunday Street-Preaching SUPRISE!

Yesterday morning, January 21, 2018 I was led of the Lord to street-preach His Word walking on up Kohnke Hill Road on the way to church by after 9:30a.m.

As I was walking on up the road I met an older brother in Christ who turns out to be a minister or pastor in his dark red truck and at first he drove ahead of me passing me on the road but then "slowly stopped" and reversed to back up and as I sensed backed up to "talk to me".

He asked if I needed a ride to church to which I responded "No, not this time. I'm gonna walk this one. Thanks for offering, though." and after a brief chat we went our ways.

... Fast-forward a few minutes later as I'm holding up His Word to approaching cars on both sides of the road as I walk across the road in long "spaces" between cars driving a young black man around my peer age group stopped in his truck right quick to ask me if I needed a ride to church or something as I walked down Patti Road heading towards University Avenue here in Hammond, LA. Said "No, I'm good. I'm walking my way over" and before I could he or I could go further since he stopped shortly in the middle of the road; he picked up speed and drove on since like if he's a fellow brother in Christ, a "Christian" and has no other important matters to attend to; we should all be going to church somewhere on a Sunday.

Also, another black guy drove by me in his silver car and asked if I needed a ride and told him "Nah, I'm good. I'm walking it." to which he realized and if he was a believer I wondered if he wondered if I wondered whether he was going to church or not himself lol.

Either way, I understand: I've just now been getting back into the "routine" of going back to church after a long "period" away. The Lord's been growing and maturing me in His Will.

So, continuing on down I meet a young black lady with her daughter in a silver car as she stops to aske me if I need a ride to church.

"Judging" by her attire she looked "dressed up" like she was going to church herself; her daughter did too. I said, "No, thanks. I'm walking on down to church on University Avenue. It's not too far for me walking I've done it before. Not this time. Thanks for the offer though." to which she readily nodded "okay" and drove on her way. She was friendly and smiling ever since she saw me "street-preaching" holding a Bible up in the air.

The more I "thought about it" when I was doing it, a lot of people must have thought I was "flagging them over" to "hitchhike" to ask them for a ride or something since a few people were thoughtful and considerate enough to "slow down" and ask me what my "deal was".

I'm glad some people were this thoughtful and considerate as human-beings; and eventually a lot of people caught on with my "holding a Bible" meant more a *MESSAGE* for the viewers than me just out "hitchhiking" a ride.

So I made it on down Patti and at the end of Patti Road crossing into University Avenue met elder brother "K" from church and his wife driving on by in their red truck.

Must have "caught them by surprised" with them seeing me out "holding up a Bible" to people driving by in their vehicles.

Anyways, elder brother "K" along with his wife asked me if I "needed a ride" the rest of the way over to church to which I replied "No, not this time. Maybe for another."

It's not like I refused just to "refuse" but *BECAUSE I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF DOING THE LORD'S WILL TO WITNESS HIS WORD AT THE MOMENT*.

Any other times I wasn't"busy with the Lord's Business" and it was favorable for me to do so, yeah I would have taken elder brother K's offer. It's never no "personal thing" when people actually offer to HELP ME. I appreciate and take those offers; I just can't stop doing something God wants me to do and "throw off" something God's Doing that I'll regret later.

It's been a long while since I've been preaching or "witnessing" in public with the Word or any other Christian signs, posters etc. but I've never "stopped soulwinning or evangelizing" just because I'm not "out there in the open with a Bible" in my hand.

True soulwinners of the brethren know that soulwinning and evangelizing for the Saviour is a 24/7 experience. It never ends until we die and even then it never ends just because "we leave" our works to reach people for Christ continues in the resources and projects and "legacies" we leave behind in our life testimonies and our brothers and sisters in Christ who continue to "carry the torch" and pass on the evangelizing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ (KJV 1 Corinthians 15:1-4) to *ALL* people be aware of and know.

The Lord Jesus Christ gives the increase of the "Harvest of Souls" but we Christians are His "husbandmen" out in the field supposed to be doing the work of "planting seeds" of the Gospel of Jesus Christ (KJV 1 Corinthians 15:1-4) of the unsaved unbelievers.

Nonetheless, yesterday I made it to church (and on time). Definitely making it a POINT to get to any place (especially GOD'S HOUSE) on time and time to spare! Amen!

... Going forward with the Holy Spirit working in us the local "church body" we grow by FAITH and not be sight.

Everybody knows the Modern Christian church has "problems"; but that's not what matters.

I sense a CHANGE or rather *SHIFT* happening in the Body of Christ.

"Stagnation" can't carry on forever in the Church Body; nor will it: it just takes a little time for BIG CHANGE to occur.

That's what's happening.

So anytime I hear people taking "bad" and "negative" about the "apostasy" in the church, I know the deal: the Church is CHANGING though.

Lord Knows it's on many hearts for there to be at least ONE BIG REVIVAL before He calls the Church back Home in the Rapture.

I'm personally in "no rush" for the Rapture to occur: my approach to these Last Days is two-fold:

1. Preparation towards to Rapture.

And

2. Preparation for the Lord tarrying a great many years before the Rapture.

By His Grace, either way I'm gonna do my best to CONTEND FOR THE FAITH!

It's not called "spiritual warfare" for nothing y'all.

We can do *ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST JESUS WHO STRENGTHENS US*. Amen.

In Continuation of Street- Preaching The Word To A Hardhearted, Stiffnecked People In Town...

Today around 12:30p.m. or earlier this afternoon I went on my way to street-preach the Word of the Lord from walking on Hillsboro Street on my way to the library for this evening...

It's been a frantic busy few days lately with a lot of chaos and strife going on in my personal life and all...

That said, as I was out preaching today; whether in His Spirit or in my "flesh" I just felt led to "break the cold social ice of social isolation and indifference in society: everyone is "staying away" from each other in the name of "self-preservation" and personal well-being.

That, I have nothing against but here's what I've been learning and "observing" by my interactions with people passing by on the streets:

As I was witnessing the Word of God holding the Bible up in my left hand and alternating switching with my right hand I noticed so many people didn't even want to as much "look my direction" to even "face" dealing with the "God Issue" in the back of their minds.

Lord Knows I've already preached and witness His Word for almost two years in the Denver Harbor area of Houston now that the general populous of people here know and "associate me" with "God" symbolically by "default".

Some men (young & old) driving by, some blazing by" in their cars and trucks blasting loud black/Hispanic gangsta rap music and all manner of worldly music with their cool black sunglasses on cruisin' on by don't even turn their heads to the side to "acknowledge my existence" insomuch as when I'm "witnessing the Word".

I personally "don't care" for "attention" from people. That's not why I'm out here "preaching" in the first place, no?

NECESSITY is LAID UPON ME!

It's like knowing GOD will "hold me accountable" for refusing to "preach" when He really wants me to for the people's sake because I know the Truth of God, His Word and His Gospel to not just "keep for myself" to a dying lost world of "hopeless people" living in the world with no "Greater Purpose or Meaning".

God may "count it against me" if I don't share the Word and the Gospel.

Like Jonah did in his day, I must not do...

It's like God's spiritual "responsibility" He has placed upon my life: I could but "can't really" just "up and stop preaching now" and live a typical, ordinary worldly life like all these people God's got me trying to reach... FOR HIM. I'd be "living a lie" knowing what I know about God and "turning back" "pretending like none of this ever really happened now".

I'm not the one really "benefiting" from the street-preaching: I know about God and I'm saved and assured HEAVEN.

These blind-sided, unsaved heathen folk (without warning) are basically "walking blind" into the pits of HELL if they don't repent.

For me, I'm good. For them, they're DAMNED if they don't believe on JESUS.

Many times I've "inconvenienced" myself for their lame sakes...

I've lost respect for these people (if I had it to begin with...).

Few guys and men driving by in their cars and trucks "acknowledge" the "Message" I was representing as I was holding the Bible witnessing the Word: they either waved their hand in a "salute-like" fashion to me or gave me a "thumbs up" gesture from behind the window of their driven vehicles.

Women also, many did as the men... Either "acknowledging" the Message; "smiling" and grinning as to deceitfully say, "Yes, okay, I got it... Moving on..." and perhaps "playing me" as a fool. Can't say if they are or not, it could just be my own personal "projections" and quick-minded "judgments" of my feeling or thoughts on them I think they're thinking. But I could also be right, in some cases...

Either way, these "men" and "women" out here can "play me off as a fool" if they want: I'm not the one who's gonna end up foolishly dying in their sins when it's not needed: THEY ARE if they don't simply "humble themselves" enough to ACCEPT GOD'S EXISTENCE and HIS WILL for their lives to BELIEVE ON HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST!

Like it or not: there's only ONE WAY to HEAVEN and that's through CHRIST JESUS the LORD and SAVIOUR.

Smh... At these people. Really PATHETIC...

I'm not at all trying to "put them down" as they may "put me down" by worldly standards 'cause I'm not "all that and a bag of chips myself" but even wicked sinner as me know when to call "evil" quits at times and move on for my own sake: such should these people do if they really know what's good for them.

Death ain't NO JOKE: it's FINAL!

Smh... Have some "tales" to "tell" today, eh?

Like, as I'm coming on up Hillsboro Street, didn't really have to say or the time to, but a group of elder Hispanic woman, a trio sitting out in their chairs having some kind of yard sale of clothing going on...

Saw them, as I walked on the sidewalk with them looking back at me in "surprised smiling" as they may have noticed me walking with my Bible in my left hand; whether their response was "genuine" or "feigned" makes no difference to me; at least it wasn't a really negative "ugly" facial expression reaction I sometimes get from unsuspecting people, "upset" I "reminded them about God" and all.

After that, so I'm still keeping on holding up the Word walking on up the sidewalk of Hillsboro Street this afternoon and getting a lot of "I know" hand gestures from folks driving in their vehicles.

It's funny that even when I'm not out doing street evangelism of any sort or anything and I'm either just walking around areas and places throughout Houston, Texas so many people I detect looking from the perspective of my peripheral vision I see so many people driving "throw their hands up in the air" in "frustration", "angst" and "resentment" because they are "upset" they "see me again" as though thinking in their heads "that black guy (i.e. "n*gga") again! What's he doing out here?!" as a front to "disregard" God using me as a metaphorical "life sign" as to say, "Yeah, this is no coincidence you see this young black man again. He's My servant and yes, I [God] Exist" to the people.

Men and women from all walks of life I've perhaps witnessed to in the past, but have remembered me even though I've probably forgotten them individually: I've witnessed to so many people in such amount of time, I can't really "keep tract" of all people I haven't met and spoken with directly to know.

Most people I've witnessed to it's been in "passing" and never really a "conversation" with.

Anyways, now I'm "ramping it up" walking up on the sidewalk area of Kress Street on my way to the library:

Same deal with folks: so many "studiously" try to "intentionally" "block out" my witnessing as though they don't "see me out here" when I KNOW THEY DO!

They're not "fooling me" and certainly not "fooling" the Almighty, are they?

Anyways, yeah, I've even started to get "disgusted" and "disappointed" by the total "heathendom" of the people lately, I don't respect, care or even "love them" as I should: they wouldn't "have my back" any better than I would theirs, why should I bother with this, "street-preaching"?

This is for GOD even though FOR ME, yeah, I LOVE "street-preaching" and travel ministry evangelism as a "life hobby" and pursuit; I love to "perform" for my sake alone; but not to "impress the people" as though I care what they think about me anyways.

It's the MESSAGE I'm bringing that sells the "performance"; nothing else matters.

People driving all crazy, cutting corners, 'bout to run up over each other" on the road... it's pitiful.

And TO WHERE ARE THEY GOING?! Is it really THAT BIG AN EMERGENCY?

I've been pretty much everywhere "important" in this lil' "neck-of-the-woods" there ain't much of nothin' so "important" to really be in a hurry 'round town; 'less they got some kind of important personal appointment or business to handle; everything else is leisure time. Don't have to "kill people" to get where you're going on the roads.

You have to always "watch your back" around here, 'cause people so cold-hearted, heartless and merciless in their impatient "rushes" to their destinations you'll just be another "dead body" in Houston; like the countless people dying DAILY here in Houston from hit-and-run accidents alone (not counting drivebys and domestic shootings that happen).

Regardless of this, I made it to the corner intersection of Kress Street and Lyons Avenue a walk of the street to the side of the library. The local church I've been fellowshipping at "Faith Memorial Baptist Church" is nearby on my left side.

Lord-willing plan to attend later this evening for 7:00p.m. "Young Adults Worship Night" or whatever it is that's "going on" supposing to be for "young people" my peer age grouping.

So, here's the "sweet lil' story of the day".

So yeah, I'm still making a last-ditch effort to preach the Word briefly before retreating into the library to regroup and minister here online as I'm want to do.

Here goes; I'm saying, "God LOVES You!" to people driving by in their cars and trucks. Don't have much time in "live passing" to preach collectively or individually to live moving vehicles so I have to say short, impactful words of mouth to make an impression.

When the traffic light is red I "turn the notch up on my voice" to be louder so that people can hear me say some more words: "God LOVES You!" Have a good evening. We all need God". and such like I say briefly encountering people continuing to "drive by" and "ignore" my "rants" as they may call them.

I do my best to make direct eye contact and hand gestures sometimes "friendly pointing over" to the people I've targeted to let them know I'm speaking to THEM DIRECTLY and not "avoiding eye contact" with people like I'm "scared of them" lol.

I want people to know that I'M LOOKING AT THEM and that *I* SEE THEM as well or better than they "see me" at the same time. Amen.

So, thing is, an older Hispanic lady and her "daughter", granddaughter or younger "female family member" drove on up in their car. Forgot the color of the car: maybe white or red or something but here's what happened:

I opened up "conversation" with them like this: first to the elder woman: "Hello there... God LOVES you! You know we need God, right?"

And she's like, not even wanting to "talk" or really "respond back" so she just says, "Thank you, God Bless pointing up here pointer finger up to the air as saying "Heaven's up there".

Yeah, I know that I'm thinking to myself.

The elder Hispanic woman then takes up a cigarette in her left hand to proceed to smoke.

Because of timing and urgency I felt on instinct I felt led to keep on speaking til' I couldn't think of nothing else to say naturally.

I said, Well, it's like this: we're all gonna die someday, you know? I've been through some things in the "life school of hard knocks" and in the end, we all die. Do you know where you'll be when you die?"

To which the elder Hispanic woman didn't give me a "concrete answer" of certainty she just looked a bit puzzled and "caught of guard" to not know whether to say "there is no Afterlife or not"; in this time the young woman "stepped" (black sunglasses on) with her young ol' "hot babe" kind-of-vibe" she "put on" on the outward appearance that is; she's like: "I turn into a butterfly" is her response to my "serious-intended" question to "life-after-death" or not.

I of course, play the young *silly* woman off as trying to be "cute" and a "smart-butt" (i.e. "smart*ss*) with her vain, arrogant, "cutesy" female self lol...

So, me, "playing along" not to be too "carnal" replied back here saying, "Well, 'sugar', you know life ain't always so "sweet" and life sucks and you die" and she didn't say nothing else to me as I finished speaking, then they drove off...

But funny thing is... after walking on my way, I met them again having stopped by at the local Cliff Tuttle Park. NOT expecting to ever see them again lol. Funny how "life" works, eh?

No "coincidence" I think not.

Lol Even said to them in passing by as I was walking and they were pulling up into a parking space in the parking lot, "Hello again!..." and I kept on walking too.

Lol I wasn't trying to "bother them" and have anything to do with them besides the MISSION of the LORD.

I got things to do for my own "personal well-being" than to annoy people pointlessly for no purpose.

When I'm not out in the public doing street and community evangelism here locally in Denver Harbor, Houston, Texas I'm the LAST PERSON to ever "bother" or "confront" anybody about "anything" if it's not important or an "emergency".

Some people might call me "antisocial" 'cause I don't like to "deal with people who mean me know good or I don't know". I don't like to "engage" with people if it's not about nothing important but carnal gossip and idle chatter.

Don't get me wrong: I like to talk with people; just don't want to WASTE MY TIME WITH DOWNERS AND HATERS who will DRAG YOU DOWN IN THEIR OWN MISERY is what I'm talking about!

For all the bad, ugly and EVIL I've experienced from myself and from other people collectively and individually in society; there have been a *few* "glimmers of hope" that keep me motivated from people.

Sometimes when I'm walking on the long, dusty, widespread roadways and trails of Houston throughout railroad tracks and the like I've seen me driving by me in their eighteen-wheeler trucks hand wave friendly too me in "support" and "edification" for my "good work in the Lord".

I thank God for their "co-signs" genuine or not: but I think for the most part these men mean well even if they might personally not "go as extreme" as me to do "street evangelism".

I know there are many of my fellow brothers and "sisters in Christ" out there driving pass me in there vehicles. It can't all just be "unbelievers"; I know the "Christian folks" are out there in the midst as well...

As far as my "worldly, churchian church-going Christian brethren" I casually "love them" and "acknowledge" them as "brethren by His Spirit" but I put NO TRUST or CONFIDENCE in them for my own sake...

If they ridicule, "attack" or "disagree" with my street-preaching evangelism efforts for the Lord in any way, shape or capacity I have my eyes on them for good reason: they can't be trusted. They aren't really "serious" for the Lord's Service even though they are His children as I am one.

The worldly, lukewarm churchian Christians my brethren may be one of the first lines of people to "attack" or "persecute" me directly or indirectly in my personal life because they find my street-preaching "offensive", "ignorant", "unbiblical" (yeah, right?!) or simply "uncomfortable" to them because of their "socially-conditioned" Western culture mindsets and expected social norms and customs.

I see through all the "bull" popular Western culture has poisoned the Christian Church with.

Many Christians are "comfortable" mingling with the world, and if that's what they want to do; I'm not going to stop their own personal FREE WILL choice; just don't try to "dictate" and find "fault" with my "freedom of expression" in Christ 'cause it "unsettles" your lukewarm, weak-kneed, compromising, worldy, fleshly, carnal, heathen, hedonistic Western world mindsets and psychological profile.

It's alright if you "disagree" with my style. I'm not "offended" with that; but I'm "offended" when people, especially of the "Household of Faith" my supposed "brethren" backstab and try to "talk bad" about me behind my back but smile 'n grin like the spinless cowards they are when they meet me in "meat space" AKA the "REAL WORLD" for a check of "reality"...

Yeah, they won't "confront" me directly about my personal Christian ministry, and I'm not one to simply "volunteer information" without a purpose in mind down the long-term.

That said, these, "sneaky brethren" take the "coward's backstabbing tactic" to get to me indirectly trying to cause me "grief" with my family and/or friends; since those are the people in my life who have most access to me directly since I do have nothing to do with hardly anyone else besides family and friends I know.

Yeah, don't think I don't know what you fools are doing and that I don't know "who you are".

I trust NO ONE. Not a SOUL. I don't even trust my own "weak self" because I'm flesh and deal with pain and can "give in" to a situation or person I shouldn't.

I only TRUST GOD to my good and my "evil" when I sin against Him 'cause at least I know "He is not a man that He should lie". Amen.

Overall, I'm disgusted and disappointed at the people I've tried to reach out with the Word of God and His Gospel; but I still have hope in the end...

GOD WINS is what I always have to remind myself on those more "depressing days".

Fighting through "depressing" and "negative emotions"; not wasting my life and "precious time" on people who will continue to ignore God in their lives. Will help and be willing to move on ASAP when dealing with most people.

Take care out there whoever's reading 'cause GOD HAS YOUR BACK when YOU KNOW "man" does NOT!

LOVE YOU to my faithful and FEW true allies in Christ out there; wherever you are in the world: would LOVE to meet up eventually and tag team kicking the Devil's Rear one foot for each cheek lol.

I need my awesome crew of brethren to hang out with and do cool stuff with. That's what I'm be working towards in the near future, Lord-willing...

Alas, to my ENEMIES: I most likely have a "clue" or "idea" who you people are, so don't try nothin' to "fishy" to "mess with me". It'll only make you a bigger fool than you are.

It's only 'cause I'm trying to "be the good ol' Christian boy" turning the other cheek (from MEEKNESS NOT WEAKNESS) I haven't let you "feel the fire" I'd have for you.

Thank GOD He is "MERCIFUL". I'm not always "too merciful or forgiving" but I don't "waste my time" dishing out pain either; I'd rather be isolated doing my own thing than to even deal with my enemies in the first place.

God says to LOVE YOUR ENEMIES and I "do" in a "sense" that I love their challenge and their "hate" to rise above their petty offences against me; and I don't have nothing really personal against most of them; but I won't be "played" by them either...

I can "afford" to "love my enemies" since they are of NO THREAT to me: they are without JESUS what have they against me? NOTHING.

I'm on JESUS'S SIDE most of the time (when I'm not in "the flesh") and seek HIS WILL in all areas of life:

Be careful, folks, not to unjustly persecute or "attack" God's Anointed and expect nothing "bad" to happen as a result...

All SIN has it's consequences: all SIN are BAD CONSEQUENCES in the end.

That said, I'm always "mindful" but not at all "fearful" of my (many, mostly "quiet", "hidden") enemies lurking in the shadows thinking I don't think "they exist"; I know you do and I'm ready for you.

My weapons are not a flesh 'n blood physical warfare variety of bullets knives and fists but on the "spiritual side" of things.

May God Almighty, Lord Jesus Christ continue to give us WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING in these hateful, distrusting, angry times of unrest and chaos.

Lord Knows we NEED IT even though we sure do NOT "deserve it". Amen.

The Gospel Tract EXPRESS!

Yesterday night I was on my back from church since there was no "Monday Night Prayer" this night hosted by elder brother "F"...

So on my way back home walking from Kress Street to walking on the sidewalk down Hillsboro Street I met an "older" young Hispanic man with a full beard, red shorts on and a "tank top" I think smoking a cigarette and I had quite a handful of "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tracts in the left-hand pocket of my black jacket I had on so I just handed the man a gospel tract as we crossed paths lol.

He's like "Hey man, what's this...?" as we kept on walking our own ways and this happened around 7:18p.m. as I checked the time on my phone to "record" what time I had given this man the gospel tract so I could "type this up" as is the case right now.

Also, few minutes later on from that on the side of the road of Hillsboro Street from the edge of the side parking lot of the VECINO Denver Harbor Family Clinic, I came in contact with an elder white man wearing glasses, with a "gruffy-like" shaggy long full beard and curly hair on his head with his backpack on his back and I gave him a gospel tract just by "handing it out" to him and he accepted and took it. All this happened by 7:20p.m. Amen!

That's kinda just how I do and so brethren in Christ who've had the similar experiences: if you just have the "urge" and "courage" to approach and "hand out the gospel tract" just do YOUR PART and if the "targeted person" receives it or not is up to their personal choice; but we the givers must depend on the Influence of the Holy Spirit to work in the heart of the recipient we intend to give the "gift" to.

But Holy Spirit can't physically "work" what we must physically work by PHYSICALLY APPROACHING A PERSON TO GIVE THEM A GOSPEL TRACT. We have to sometimes FORCE ourselves to do the "physical act" and God Almighty, Lord Jesus Christ via Holy Spirit does the SPIRITUAL ACT. Amen!

Today, on my way "walking around town" (still having quite a few handwritten "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tracts in possession) I was walking on Kress Street passing under the "underpass" of East Freeway going up to where "Burger King" was located and when I made it to the "opposite side" of East Freeway of I-10 heading south I looked to my right standing by the "signal lights" and noticed a black woman in her car "waving me" like it's "okay" for me to "cross over" the street.

Likewise, a young Hispanic man in his 18-wheeler white truck "hand-waving" me also to "cross over" despite the "street signals" not saying a "pedestrian" can walk across the road.

Normally I like to obey the "street signal lights" and I wasn't in a hurry to anywhere so I shook my head "no" in bafflement and waited until the pedestrian street signal turned to the "silver person walking" icon before I crossed the road.

I wasn't gonna "take any chances" with people: can't never be sure when someone's gonna "run into you" in their carelessness out here.

People so IMPATIENT and don't want to wait.

Smh... I'll cross the street when I'M READY not when "YOU" the "car driver" "waves me off"... Okay? Okay...

And yeah, that young Hispanic man in his big 18-wheeler white truck took out his phone and "pointed at me" as though he was "recording me" as I walked across the street.

Smh... Don't know for what, but besides being perhaps locally "infamous" (it such be the case, don't really personally "care for it" but it is what it such be the case) ain't much to "go on" from "recording me"; unless trying to "invest in something" haha.

Also, later on, this is when I'm at the Selena Quintanilla Perez Park I met a Hispanic man sitting at a grayish-black iron bench and table space under a gazebo and calmly handed him a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract. This was at 11:33a.m. today after I looked at the time on my phone.

Flash-forward, now afternoon I'm back in my usual spot of town at Cliff Tuttle Park outside of the local library and having met him earlier by walking off to the side of the sidewalk by the CITGO gas station and convenience store I saw him at the corner of the sidewalk by the road extending out to East Freeway going north to Downtown.

He's a young black man, a "peer" in age though I think a good bit older than me.

We head nod and I wave my hand "Hey, what's up?" as we go about our business.

Filling up at the local "watering hole" AKA the "water fountain"; I was looking at him from the distance.

I was standing at the Joe and Theresa Padilla Skate Park that is part of the whole "Cliff Tuttle Park".

He's all sitting down on the ground with a white drink cup that looks like the cups you get at Burger King or fast food joints "panhandling" for money.

Going on "intuition" seems like he's made a "lifestyle" of this; as a perpetual "habit". Just hoping he "gets lucky" and someone gives him some change or money in his cup so he can go buy some smokes, drinks or something. Saw a cig or "cigarette" in his hand(s) if not mistaken: don't think he's using the money for "serious needs" from what I see from the "outside-looking-in"; but I don't care about that. Not my "focus".

Man has natural "nappy" spiky Afro hair and don't know if he comes it or not; keeps it up but I digress... don't care about that "personal stuff" just "details" noticed.

My "focus" and "goal" with him was to put him on the Path of JESUS CHRIST. Screw everything else before that.

My "goal" is to lead him to HEAVEN and NOT HELL. Amen.

'Cause we're all gonna die and I want to help take people to the "Good Place".

So... after a while I just feel this "urge" and better yet OPPORTUNITY in the moment to just waltz on over to the man already sitting on the ground crisscross applesauce-style" and handed him a "Jesus Christ LOVES You!" Gospel of Jesus Christ gospel tract to have in hand.

He's like, "Hey, sup, thanks man!" And me being the usual "silent mute" for most "passing conversations" just say "Yeah..." if I said anything at all lol as I just wanted to "pass by" and not really "engage" him in conversation at the time. Was one of those "quick moments" on the fly; no "conversation-time" like I've had with some people in the past.

Other than that, today kinda a "mixed day" with a little mild "depression" if I'd call it that, but not really.

Was sunny a bit, then turned back overcast, gloomy and "cloudy" in the sky above then "rained for a bit" now darker at 4:12p.m. right now typing this up...

Kinda "screwed around" online skim-watching "Naruto" vids on YouTube" got distracted a bit then remembered "Oh hey, gotta type up my 'business' lol!" Wasting time Smh... But needed a "break" but not that kind of "leisure break". *BACK TO TASK!* Amen!

Anyways, from yesterday and today 4 souls got the gospel to them directly hand-to hand. To GOD be all the GLORY.

Hope each one of these four men the Lord gave me opportunity to witness His Gospel to might trust on Him and be SAVED.

Today, warts and all, been a decent day. Can't really complain.

Not my "ideal" but not my "worst" that I don't like.

Amen!

Reflection: Gloomy, Overcast Day Street-Preaching In The Community...

Today I was led of the Lord by His Spirit to preach the Word walking on up Hillsboro Street and then making the right turn walking up the road of Kress Street.

It's been a gloomy, overcast "gray day" up in the sky.

I held up His Word to cars I met having stopped at the intersection of Woolworth Street on the way up Hillsboro Street.

Every time I sensed a moment to stop I went and held up the Bible for the men, women and people to see His Word as I looked at them in direct face-to-face contact.

Today, I didn't really get much "reaction" from the local townsfolk or at least they may not have wanted to "acknowledge my existence" as I made clear to them by my mere physical "presence" upholding a Bible in my hand that "there is a God" and many people do not want to accept that fact...

I've been here in the Denver Harbor community of the Fifth Ward District in Houston, Texas for a while now...

Seems so strange how the time has passed since I first arrived here in the summer of June 2015; now up to this point of February 2017... Wow... Can't even believe it really...

My Bible "street-preaching" seems (at least to me) to lost it's "spark" like it used to have. People it seems have grown accustomed or "used to it" being done by me as a "familiar" with the deal.

I'm starting to kinda feel like "Noah" in a way when the Lord had called him to preach the warning of "The Flood" to come and the repentance to God from the Evil of that Time.

Then again, as I've learned from trial-and-error" my own personal "feelings" on the matter cannot be trusted when I go about doing the Lord's Will.

______________________

When I first got here in Denver Harbor of the Fifth Ward District in Houston, Texas, everything was so "brand new" lol and fresh, and "exciting".

Now, haha it's all "old news" typical and "the usual".

Don't get me wrong lol, I like it here, love it even in some ways but now I'm starting to feel "pressed" in my spirit as though God is going to "open up" something new I must "transition to".

I've met a lot of people here. Witnessed the best I could at the times presented... Now I think is the time for a "change" and I don't know what kind of change must take place but God Knoweth.

I'm mindful to stay fully dependent and compliant on GOD'S DESIRES solely and not let my own "personal desires" override and conflict with "His Schedule". What He wants is all that matters. Not my "personal desires" at this point.

Like my elder brother and Pastor T.J. once said (it's not his exact saying but something very similar I'll "paraphrase"); "There come's a time in every believer's walk with the Lord that things go from being 'wide 'n open', free with so much freedom to 'dance around' and do what you like in service to the Lord; but then things start to get NARROWER. More "rigid" and "narrow. A lot of "personal choices and decisions" God would allow you to do and experience from as a "rookie" growing up in the Lord. But now that you've had time to grow and be developed in the Lord your walk with the Lord has become much more "narrower" and RESTRICTIVE than it used to be when you first started out. Things are harder and a lot more 'demanding'. You have to do all things God's Way or you won't be walking in His Spirit of His Perfect Will in your life."

I very much agree wholeheartedly with his statements.

Elder brother Pastor T.J. told me and my brethren this on a Wednesday night bible study about this subject and while he didn't go into all the "nitty-gritty" details of the "narrower path" more "experienced" believers in the Lord get "thrusted into" I'd say, it's something we all very much identified with. Amen.

As of yet, even though it's been a mere nearly four years of Christian ministry I've embarked on from the Lord beginning in the summer of 2013 to this point I suppose I can say, from all that I've been through, people I've met and "experiences" good and bad I had the privilege to learn from and develop I'm no longer a "rookie in the Lord" but I'm also no aged, seasoned veteran in Christ either.

I may have a long way to God as the Lord leads. I can only trust God what He will do with me next.

It would be a blessing to live a good long life on earth until the Rapture takes place but I'm realistic and I'm frankly accepting of a long or short life in the Lord as life goes on.

I'm now 23 years-old and starting to feel the "effects" of being in my "young adulthood" and getting "older". I must get myself on the "right track" and not make dumb and foolish choices and decisions I'll regret later.

Too much at stake in these times.

It's been a privilege also to meet all my wonderful brethren in Christ online here on Google Plus+, Facebook and Twitter to name a few social media platforms.

I was a "newbie" to pretty much all three mediums and by time, observance and participation I've learned how to interact and use these social media platforms greatly but I've learned from everyone who helped me out directly and indirectly and it was a blessed experience all around. Amen.

At the end of the day, I want to say I *LOVE* all people even though I simply don't want to be "bothered" most of the time lol.

People are good for the most part but can be "annoying" at times haha.

Well, looking outside now and the sun has come out and "taken away" from the "gloominess" of the day thus far... Looking real nice out from looking through the side window panes of inside the library.

Man, I want to be a KID again lol! Used to be so "innocent", "pure" and "blissfully ignorant" to the harsh realities of the "real world" as known by the sin of fallen humanity in this sin-cursed world.

Then again, I'm glad I'm "grown up".

Many people don't ever get to grow up into adulthood and die as children and teenagers unfortunately.

At least I see "life" as it is, not as it should and could be. That's a start.

Better I think in the long-term to see "life as is" and "accept" than to live in complete, "total ignorance" of real world real life reality and humanity. It's a mental fear and deception I don't wish on anyone.

Real life is HARD but it's REAL; no "illusions" to it. Amen.

Just because I "acknowledge reality" doesn't mean I always "accept it" as "ideal".

I don't always like or "accept" things as the way it is even though it could be something "morally wrong" and sinful or a "social truth"; but I can recognize it.

Although I want to say I'll always "be here" online blogging on this blog or having a "social media presence" elsewhere that will probably be the case and I'm wanting to continue and transition to higher levels in Christ here online but my biggest and main mission is to stay FOCUSED ON THE DIRECTION OF GOD ALMIGHTY, LORD JESUS CHRIST VIA HOLY SPIRIT.

I can't "promise" anyone here online or in the "real world" anything with a "guarantee". Some things I personally would like to because it's want I really want to do but other "bigger things" I cannot in full expectation.

I'm just saying all this out here 'cause I don't know what will be happening in the days ahead but somehow and somewhere I'll have to be "changing up" my "daily routine" and following the Lord to "uncharted territories" I never expect. It's how I even got to this point I never would have thought in my "early days" starting out in "ministry".

I'm experienced by all the great men and women of God here online and my fellow peers in age group. Great works in the Lord indeed.

May God Almighty, Lord Jesus Christ guide and bless everyone on their personal journeys and walks in the Lord.

We must keep "keeping on" in life like Christ isn't coming back soon in preparation until He finally does return to gather His Sheep.

I'm not "waiting on the Lord" to return as though I've given up all "hope" and just want the "Rapture" to happen.

Perhaps Christ is waiting on US to work with Him.

Only the Father Knows when He is sending His Son back to earth but in the mean time, as the United States has a new U.S. President in President Donald J. Trump and a whole lot of global world events have transpired and going on, the future is "unpredictable" in how everything will all play out. Only God Knows all the details. NOTHING is "guaranteed". Amen.

Coming to a close now, I really hope everyone reading this and everyone in life everywhere around the world from here in the United States of America unto all seven continents and islands and land masses where human souls dwell: may everyone be guided by the Lord Jesus Christ and abide in His Spirit and His Perfect Will.

GOD has the ANSWERS. Not me and no other human-being.

Trust on Jesus Christ, start in His Word and LIVE DAILY IN OBEDIENCE TO HIS HOLY SPIRIT.

Your personal "plan" for your life will ultimately FAIL and "pale" in comparison" to the greatness of GOD'S PLAN if you potentially follow out HIS WILL over your own will. That's what I'm trying and learning to do now to the best of my God-Given ability.

I'm not perfect and I make mistakes. I'd be even more "self-righteous" and "prideful" to say I haven't "made mistakes" or been "disobedient or rebellious" towards God because I HAVE!

I've sinned against the Almighty many-a-times and regretted so but I'm not going to continue to "deny" and not act like it never happened.

I thrown down the Bible and "kicked it around" on the ground like I was kicking any regular sports ball like a soccer ball before in my anger and frustration against God. I got "fed up" with "obeying God" sometimes when I wanted to justify my "anger and desire to "get back" at people who I truly believed "did me wrong" and got mad at God as a result for being "willing to suffer for sinners' mistakes".

That said, deep down, I know I'm no "better" than anybody else out there, believer or "unbeliever" alike.

It's only CHRIST in me that's good. It's not about "personal righteousness" at all. That's such a fraud.

Only CHRIST is GOOD. Period.

I've experienced enough of "humanity" in myself and abroad to know that one biblical truth: "ONLY GOD IS GOOD".

There is NO RIGHTEOUSNESS among men without CHRIST. Period.

Sin-cursed humanity without any Judgment, Correction and Reproof from God is complete, total, debase pure evil.

Thank GOD, He sent His Son, LORD JESUS CHRIST to do the impossible.

There was no other way God could save humanity even though us mortal human-beings think "God could have done something else".

If that was the case He would of. How dare we "question God" on that matter? You think He wanted to "sacrifice His Son" if He could redeem humanity some other way? I don't think so but then again, I don't "think like God". I'm not God to know.

Even God Himself had to "pay the ultimate cost" to save humanity with that One Solution being the Sacrifice of His Dear, Only Beloved Son, Lord Jesus Christ to die for all humanity.

God had no "easy way out" and neither do we if we believe not that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

The Ending of Year 2016: At A CROSSROADS...

Okay, okay, okay... It's been quite a while indeed since I've posted here...

Lots have been going on in my personal life and it's quite challenging to manage things well as I should but in patience things are working out. Thank God.

First of all, I hope everyone has had a great Merry Christmas in the Lord.

I know for many folks it's a "good season" but there is also a lot of pain, sorrow and personal stress of a "bad season" for many people.

People have lost loved ones during the "holiday season". People have gotten into bitter, ugly fights and arguments with family and friends. It's reality. It happens to us all.

I thank God this Christmas was more "bland" and "dull" over being overly "contentious" and festering with "ill feelings".

Christmas was "okay" for the day it was but most importantly it's celebrated by us Christians as the Day our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ came into this world to live with humanity and eventually save us from our sins.

Thank God Lord Jesus Christ saved us. Amen!

Also, I won't really say here what I "got" for Christmas personally but I got the "best gift" of all apart from the Salvation of Lord Jesus Christ. I thank God for it. Smh... Right on time and without even thinking it to.

It's really *AMAZING* how *GOD* works things out. Nothing like having your family and loved ones back with you. Amen.

Also... as far as "personal ministry" in the Lord is concerned I've always been minded to remain "mindful" of "soulwinning" and witnessing the Gospel of Jesus Christ (KJV 1 Corinthians 15:1-4) to all people the Lord gives me opportunity to share.

Last Tuesday, December 26, 2016 around 10:30p.m. I was walking around the local Cliff Tuttle Park outside of the local library space and gave a "Heart For The City" Christian Spanish gospel tract to an elder Hispanic man sitting on a wooden bench at the park having his "alone moment" of contemplation.

I didn't really want to "bother him" and before I went over to hand him the gospel tract I first asked the Holy Spirit closing my eyes briefly in passing by at the wooden bench table area nearby whether or not I should go to the man or man and hand him the gospel tract. Holy Spirit said "Yes, you may" and I thank God He gave me the strength to *FOLLOW THROUGH* and just *DO IT* whether the man accepted the gospel tract or not because at least I would have "closure" knowing I followed God's Will and one more soul got a chance for some "exposure" to God knowing *JESUS CHRIST*.

After that, I eventually made my way to go into the library to post articles and website links on Google Plus+ and minister and fellowship with brethren online.

Also watched some YouTube videos online of Dragonball Z and Dragonball Super for practically the whole day while also commenting...

I fell into my own "guilty pleasure" but still failed and did not do all the work I should have been doing but God still used my failure to *HIS SUCCESS*.

Anytime now I'm watching any kind of video online on YouTube I make it a "habit of strategy" to comment  interestingly about the content of the video whether it's about the places, characters, people, things; anything that is amusing, funny, informational, knowledge-imparting and I'm learning to be an "Online Fisherman for Jesus" just like Jesus told Peter, James and John He would teach them how to be "fishers of men".

See, when I'm getting involved and *ENGAGED* in the kind of hobbies, interests and activities of commenters I view online who comment on YouTube vids such as on "anime" YouTube vids; I just be me and talk and discuss about everything I'm thinking and liking because I like manga and anime myself.

I'm no "geek" into it, but I definitely love the *ARTSTYLE* and *STORYTELLING* possibilities that manga and anime open up for creative individuals.

Before I know it, someone may reply or respond to a comment I have about something on the video and depending as I read and sense the comment I receive from the commenter I could "potentially" get a chance to witness "Jesus" to someone.

For instance, I was watching a Dragon Ball Super episode about a villain named "Zamasu" who's basically like a "god-like" individual with a very twisted, self-righteous spirit of superiority of being an "immortal being" vs. "mortal beings" as in like us "human beings".

I haven't a clue the actual full plot of the story but it's a very deep, emotional saga that deals with themes of "sin" and "mortals vs. immortals". I saw many connections and opportunities where Christianity could be introduced and referenced in dealing with the life "morality topics" and subjects being discussed like how humanity should not "play God and mess with time travel" and related topics. Real deep stuff. Amen.

Also, also on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 I only street-preached His Word (King James Version Holy Bible [KJV]) shortly as led of the Spirit on Hillsboro Street around 9:40a.m. until I got to the end of the cross street that is Kress Street on my way walking up to the library.

I only briefly held up the Bible to a few people driving by in their cars and trucks as many already seemed to "sense" I was reminding them of their consciences that continued to "reject" the Existence of God they may know in their hearts...

Lately I really haven't been called in the Spirit of the Lord to do any "serious street-preaching" and "street evangelism" lately as God has been using the days and weeks before to minister in the hearts of the people He's been trying to reach through using my vessel.

Folks know there is a God; now it's just that they have to be led into *ACCEPTANCE* as trusting on Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.

It's a time of rest and patience in the Lord to convict the hearts He has revealed Himself too.

Anywhere I go now in town (as has been the case ever since I've been street-preaching here) ... Walking the streets people gaze and "look over to me" in some kind of notable "awe" like "that's the black guy who's always around holding up the bible and preaching walking around".

It's like I have some kind of "unofficial" personal "fame" in the local community which is good and bad in both respects but only for the Glory of the Lord does this matter to me personally. People need to get SAVED and *LIVE FOR GOD* and not continue to look at me as some kind of "eye-gazing spectacle" for personal amusement.

My "street-preaching" might seem like silly antics" to unbelievers and unsaved folks looking from the outside-in and even "Churchian" fellow brothers and sisters in Christ who may think my street-preaching ministry is "too extreme", "primitive" or "unbiblical". "YEAH RIGHT!" I say to all my "hidden" naysayers out there who doubt God's Work in me.

I haven't been doing this stuff for "nothin'" without seeing any results for the labour: God has been GOOD to me and shown time-and-time again changed lives and people getting SAVED as a result of me taking the risk to street-preach in sometimes "hostile environments" that people would call the "ghetto".

EVERYBODY needs *JESUS* and the "Hood" is no exception.

At first I hated it here and wanted to leave ASAP and still do want to leave as soon as the Lord Leads me to go to next destination, Lord-willing; but now I've "grown" to like and appreciate my current surroundings.

God is HERE. Amen.

______________________________________

I suppose now my last piece of "news" I'll mention is that yesterday night after 7:30p.m. bible study I got "terminated" from serving as an "usher" at my local church.

I no longer serve as an "usher" at my church but I will now continue to attend church service and still be of help and service to my local church community.

The reason I was terminated by my pastor is because I refused to participate in the "Nativity Scene" Christmas play Sunday Christmas morning because I was convicted of the Holy Spirit not to be in it.

Before, I "went against" my conscious telling me I should not "go along" with the play and "went along with it".

I thought it was silly and not warranted and the Spirit said not to go with it. I say nothing personally against my pastor because he is the anointed of God as the leader of the church as he even says "Christ is the Head".

That said, I kinda just "brushed on the surface" here of what happened since it's a lot more complicated to this that it first sounds initially and more folks are involved it seems even though in my refusal not to participate in this "child's play" I didn't directly have "personal beef" with other brethren though I suspect indirectly some had some "personal beef" or "conflict" with me even though I'm not personally-involved or attached to anybody at the church as I "serve, help clean and up after service and come and go about my business afterward" and am still new to the church and to everyone that regularly attends.

So... All things being said, this is a last minute deal and I have no "hard feelings" against anyone since I already knew this could happen as "worst case scenario" and since I have my own personal ministry in the Lord I'm not "attached" to the "position" I had serving at church previously since by His Grace I'm serving the Lord all throughout my life and not just in the "church building" of the congregation.

Besides this all, 2016 has been a very harrowing and tense year for me of ups-and-downs with many failures and mistakes but nothing to super disastrous I couldn't recover from in due time by the Strong Hand of the Lord.

I've been "humbled" by the Lord in how hard life is and what it takes to survive and "push through" difficult circumstances and situations. It's been hard but not impossible.

I'm excited and weary for the New Year 2017 to come to pass but I'm very cautious and "apprehensive" about this new year.

I want 2017 to be a year of *BREAKTHROUGH* of *REVIVAL* in the *CHURCH* and also my own personal life.

2017 is the year to rise up to a new level in the Lord and contend with all the enemies of our Lord.

I think I may pose a few "New Year's Resolutions" I have in the Lord concerning the Body of Christ as well as personal goals.

May God Almighty, Lord Jesus Christ be in our hearts as we make the voyage into this New Year 2017. Amen.

~ Sincerely,

Bro. Jed

*BRIGHT DAY* In the LORD!

A while back on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 I was led of the Lord to street-preach His Word (King James Version Holy Bible [KJV]) walking on up Hoffman, Hillsboro and Kress Streets...

It was a GOOD sunny day walking in the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

A lot of folks, as I upheld the Word in my hand "waved by" with their hands driving by in their vehicles as though they "get the program".

Some friendly responses despite "denials" of God.

I perceive the Lord has "revealed Himself to be True" whether many of the people He's given me the Grace to witness to accept the existence of God or not.

It was a good day back then... The library was closed and was closed the day before on Tuesday so the library could have its electrical and computer systems overhauled with updates and configurations.

That's why the main reason why I haven't been online lately; besides personal responsibilities and goals that need to be done...

Also, it's a "tedious process" but overtime, definitely thinking on how I'm gonna "overhaul" this blog and a few of my other websites and projects I hope to upload online in time.

The Lord's been doing great work in the hearts of the people here in town.

I'm "well-known" here in the sense as that black guy "preacher" who be on the streets 'round here.

My walk in the Lord has been getting much stronger now. Making it to church on time and being more prompt and attentive to the task at hand.

Many people I see in my peripheral vision who see me walking to and from church are being "convicted" in their consciences I believe to know they SHOULD BE GOING TO CHURCH instead of "doing whatever they want on Sunday" without acknowledging *GOD* as the *CENTER* of their lives; I'm talking especially for fellow believers in Christ NOT the unbelievers!

TOO MANY Christians nowadays have a very sad poor habit of "neglecting" their acknowledgment of God in their lives by NOT GOING TO CHURCH at least one day a week to fellowship amongst brethren: that needs to STOP RIGHT NOW.

It's a really bad, awful habit; I'm talking about CHRISTIANS here.

I don't expect unbelievers to "all of a sudden" go to the Church House and start worshiping and praising God like they've done it their whole lives because they don't even want to accept there is a Creator (although it's always good for newly converted believers to start going to church as soon as they trust on Jesus Christ as Saviour as soon as possible nothing stopping them).

Even so, I've had many different encounters and experiences in the Lord I have not yet shared and updated here that I would like to but GOD'S WILL BE DONE before any of that.

Love you all whoever you may be out there reading this, saint 'n sinner alike! Take care out there and remember JESUS IS LORD whether you like it or not. Amen!

A Brief Spontaneous "Piggly Wiggly" Surprise...

It's been a great while since I've had good opportunity to be able to give someone one of my handwritten " Jesus Christ LOVES ...
